Hello, I asked this about a month ago but I dont think anyone found a solution so I just wanna see if anyone may have ideas now?
TL:DR my player sprite is invisible on ONE save, other saves are fine
How it happened:
I entered the battle tower 2v2 and when I went in I was immediately invisible and nothing was progressing. I could "move" around the room but could not interact. I was able to reload and it fixed it, but stupidly I kept trying it to figure out what the problem was. Using the debugger in the battle tower room got me out of the room but I was still invisible. Accidentally saved over this (rip). Creating a new game has no issues with the sprite, but this save has my most progress and I am permanently invisible:(

I just updated too and started playing 5.3.1. After every battle or enter or leaving a building my screen goes black and is slow to come up. When I was playing 4.9.2 it didn't do this is their a setting I've got making it load slow or is the newer version just like this

Edit so I tried to download and run the preloaded one thinking this is might be the issue and not much has changed. Loading into a building is fine but leaving is very slow. Other then this game runs fine so I don't know what's going on

@ancient vector I was reading if your having long loading times you need to try using the alternative game loader. I havent tested it but apparently it fixes it it just takes longer to start up at first then should run better. And if you look for it it'll be in the game folder at the bottom and will have the same poke ball icon as the normal game

You could try two things:

1.) Go to any pokemon center and head upstairs, and talk to a man in black suit. He will give you an option to "fix game". Press that option and it might go back to normal.

2.) If you aren't playing in the alternate launcher, I'd recommend you play there. The alternate launcher takes a lot of time to open up compared to the actual launcher, but there's a lot less loading issues

Hey @signal salmon! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

The sprite pack for the Alterante download didn't work (yes I'm on the latest version 5.3.1), I can play the game (if I afk at the start screen it will eventually crash running into a "missing" sprite even though when I check for the files mentioned they exist) but I'm definitely missing sprites it seems? I've tried turning on and off the download missing sprites automatically but it didn't seem to do anything, this doesn't seem to crash my game or anything, so it's not much of a problem but mostly asking to see if I've done something wrong?

Up until today, i could play the game just fine but since today I encounter a bug that is ruining my game experience.

When I launch the game, past the main menu i have a load time that is may longer than before "3/4 min vs 2 seconds beforehand
Also, which is more concerning, when i play can can go in game, the game seems to zone-out and then crash when the following happens :

• I try so see a sprite that is not preloaded
• I go to the over-world

Are there any dierctions on how to use this thing anywhere??? There are a million videos on how to download and install it, yep, easy. Game launches and has no options except set controls. I don't even need someone to explain it, just a any source that does explain how to use it.

Hey @tough thorn! Are you having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .exe file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

You downloaded the Sprites and moved them to your Graphics folder? If you did, you shouldn't see this error because this error is saying it is missing the sprite 123.214.png

If you just getting the same error as the other person about the RGGB error and sprites missing the pinned comment is what you need to download and move those sprites to the Graphics folder

Are you trying to use the Alt Launcher? I believe that is still not working for a lot of people, so I would try Game.exe. There are options in the game to turn off downloading sprites also if connecting to the internet to download sprites is a problem

Hey @uneven barn! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Hi, sorry, What happens is that I had version 5.0.3 in which I reached the hall of fame, then I created a new game on that same one, after that, I installed the new version, but since then, every time I "change screen" (whether defeating a pokemon, leaving or entering a house or route etc, it gets stuck with a black screen for one or two minutes each time it happens) and tried to create other games, reinstalled the game several times and nothing. That in the normal launcher, in the alternative one it doesn't open directly. somebody could help me?
