"Need help" tells me nothing about what your problem is, but looking at those files it appears that you tried to use the updater to update a non-installer version. Don't do that.
#downloads, infinitefusion.zip, extract to a new folder, run the installer.

This definitely not an urgent request for help, more just a question of of curiosity, but is there any significant reason to the custom sprites no longer being sorted into numbered folders? Was it for simplicity's sake of not wanting the hassle of sorting, or a more technical benefit in how the game operates? Was just genuinely curious, as I've just been sorting them into their folders myself and thought about asking. And maybe save myself the trouble if it turns out is really is unnecessary, lol.

all i can say is that its not a general problem, i cleared E4 a few days ago with no issues. this is a script issue so maybe reinstall the game, however I have a suspicion the OS you are using is not windows which adds another layer of "who knows whats going on". saves are independent from the game so you wont lose it

well basically the issue is that in my case, the credits file separated its entries by ; rather than ,

the code tries to split each line of the file with , as the separator, expecting that the first part will be the sprite code and the second one will be the artist. if there are no commas, it interprets the line all as one part, and crashes when it finds out there is no second part

Hey @frank meadow! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

I would be curious backing up your save folder then trying various old versions. Any install would still use your save folder. Maybe possible to determine what version introduced the issue, and could use the last known working version just to get past that part.
That's a job for bug testers or QA though. Too much to ask of normal users.

One thing, this is very important, the loading time is very long, for example I leave any building and it takes me 6 seconds with the black screen until I leave the place. It also happens to me when I enter a house or finish a fight. And I cant use the other launcher, it gives me an error

Hey everyone!
So, my friend had a problem with black screen and little lag (at least 5 seconds) before starting to fight and changing map.
And the alt launch wasnt working. So i did all what was in the 1st pin message.

Now, the alt launcher is working but, he always has lagging problem and black screen problems (much shorter than before) but it's always present.
And idk if it's normal but if he try to go again on the normal launcher, the lag is always present and with the original time of lag like all i did was useless.

So does he need to start a new game on the alt launcher or something?
Tbh im a little lost about that and i want to help so he can enjoy the game to the fullest

If you used the installer to get the game, run it again. If you didn't, fresh install from #downloads . Your save will be fine either way. The game automatically downloads sprites as you play.

I first extract the game in my "downloads" file. i've done all the instalation but some issues appeared so i've try to install the game in a different disk.
After switching disk, same problem but i've found a video to help and it say "install the game on your main disk".
I've deleted all files in "downloads" and the other disk to clear all but now i'm trying to install in main disk, the installer return 394 error and say "path is not found"
The installer can't reach github and download the game from it.

To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. hello everyone. I think i need help cause i'm experiencing some really wierd problem
I first extract the game in my "downloads" file. i've done all the instalation but some issues appeared so i've try to install the game in a different disk.
After switching disk, same problem but i've found a video to help and it say "install the game on your main disk".
I've deleted all files in "downloads" and the other disk to clear all but now i'm trying to install in main disk, the installer return 394 error and say "path is not found"
The installer can't reach github and download the game from it.

I can't understand why path IS not found, in the first try all download works good but now path IS missing. I've tried some git command manually but didn't work either

Different issue.
If you are using randomizer, talk to NPC at Pokemon center and shuffle encounters.
If not, try a fresh install to a new folder directly in C:, like C:/infinitefusion/. It looks like I already showed you the guide. I would suggest trying to follow the steps there. Please don't skip any steps or you might get stuck again.

Hey @heady dagger! Are you having trouble starting the game? Here are a few common errors you might be experiencing:

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

I'm attempting to run it on mobile, using a Galaxy S7 Tablet, I've got it running, there's sounds when it starts, and it gets to a point where keybindings pop up and the version, but there's absolutely no video of anything.
My old laptop can't run it, otherwise I'd just do it on there.

Hey @clever skiff! The game isn't made to be played on mobile! You can try to use Joiplay to run it, but the game will likely be very slow, glitchy, or downright unplayable.

Nothing can likely be done about issues experienced on mobile, unfortunately. You can ask for help in the video's comments section if you'd like.

No dedicated mobile version of IF will be developed in the future.

I downloaded the new version and installed the up to july 2023 sprite pack and i currently have no sprites
for fused pokemon

I have relaunched the game several times, it's not indexing the sprites like it says it's supposed to and what I remember it doing

I extracted the up to july pack and moved custombattlers into the graphics folder
