In the … menu choose "optimize backgrounds". Or long-press the game icon you created in JoiPlay and select "optimize maps". This process takes a few minutes.
If that doesn’t work, you can try a complete wipe of the install and then reboot the device.
If that also doesn’t work, make sure you are using the latest version of Joiplay and RPG maker plugin from their Patreon. You can report this bug, get support, and maybe get them to fix it on their Discord:

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

Try this:
Rename the folder C:/Users/[username]/AppData/Roaming/infinitefusion/ to anything else like infinitefusionbackup. This is your save folder and by renaming or moving it the game doesn't see it.

In the … menu choose "optimize backgrounds". Or long-press the game icon you created in JoiPlay and select "optimize maps". This process takes a few minutes.
If that doesn’t work, you can try a complete wipe of the install and then reboot the device.
If that also doesn’t work, make sure you are using the latest version of Joiplay and RPG maker plugin from their Patreon. You can report this bug, get support, and maybe get them to fix it on their Discord:

Hey @uncut pawn! Are you having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .exe file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

Hey @torpid sand! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Have you done randomizer stuff? You can talk to NPC in pokemon center to shuffle encounters.
If you do a fresh install to a new folder, it will still use your saves but you will have normal encounters.

If you really want those preloaded sprites, you need Sprites.zip from the top pin in this channel. Extract it so that the Graphics folders merge.

there are a couple reasons your game is lagging but more than likely its because you have downloaded so many sprites that it is causing your game to bog down even more. You have to use the alternate launcher. Your pc can't handle it otherwise

Hey @stiff fossil! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!
