For people trying to get it working on Linux (Ubuntu):

they changed how the game installs now. You don't download individual patches. There is a file that will update the game when you click on it. But you need to download the new installer to be able to do that

Hey @lusty pagoda! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

So ive learned a vital piece of info my computer illiterate self didnt get quickly, infinitefusion is just the game, infinitefusion_preloadedsprites is the sprites WITH the game. I thought it was the sprites file everyone was talking about. Hey @rapid socket! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

And yes you will have to go to each numbered folder individually. Do not delete the folder in its entirety this is where the base 420 unfused sprites are located. Do not delete the whole number sprites. Just the decimal ones

Hiya, trying out the game for the first time and experiencing some issues. Working with Version 5.0 if that helps.

• Opened the game on normal launcher, tried to play for a bit but loading times were real bad.
• Checked the pinned comment here and switched to alternate launcher
• Every time the starting cutscene finishes, it displays the error message described in the pinned comment where there's a sprite that's been corrupted in the CustomBattlers folder.
• Replaced the sprite, tried to launch again. Same error came up but with a different sprite.
• This continues to happen. Initially there's around 10 or 11 folders so I thought there were specific sprites the game needed to be there, but each time I replace a sprite a new folder is created on the next launch and displays an error saying there's a problem with that folder, so as far as I can tell this is just going to keep happening until I've manually uploaded every sprite.

Not really sure what to do - is there somewhere I could download the entire contents of the CustomBattlers folder and just place it into the file and see if that works?

Hey, i was trying to install this on my steam deck,
I downloaded the InfiniteFusion_linux.zip and extracted it,
then I ran the InfiniteFusion\INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.sh in konsole but it said no such file or directory for 7z.exe and git.exe
I had to go into the properties of the .sh and tick the is executable box first
so i extracted the InfiniteFusion\REQUIRED_BY_INSTALLER_UPDATER\MinGit.7z
and then ran the .sh again and now it still cant find 7z.exe but it says permission denied for git.exe

delete and reinstall the game, this time use winrar/7zip as windows extracter can be awful, after youve done that let the main game load in, once its loaded in close it down, then right click and run as admin on the alternative launcher

Hey @cloud wadi! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

There really isn't an easy way of figuring this out. You would have to turn off certain settins one by one until it works. But you don't want to turn off multiple settings at the same time otherwise you wont know what caused the issue

To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Downloaded the game and the sprite pack, and installed it(not sure if correctly) and the game works fine except sometimes this error pops up when a certain combination comes up, easiest way to recreate it was the title screen as it does this every time and then crashed my game.

So, just downloaded the game and trying to play. Everything works except the environment isn’t loading. Sprites/music/menus/etc all look/sound good, but it’s just the items/sprites on a black screen.

Hey @slow comet! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Does anyone else have really slow load times? Whenever I exit a building there's a black screen for ~5 seconds each time
