Hey @eager stirrup! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

hey guys, so i just got my steam deck and have watched several videos of people downloading the .zip and adding the .exe file to stream and launching through there. however when i try this, it gives me the steam logo as if it’s loading the game, then it just goes back to the launch screen. i’ve tried adjusting the compatibility settings, launching on proton experimental and other versions of proton, and have even tried 3 different versions of infinite fusion ranging from 5.1.2.4 to the latest version. any tips to get it to launch on steam deck would be greatly appreciated. (i know i can download windows and launch from that but i would like to avoid that if possible)

There is no install.bat file in the mobile version of the game (or i didn't find it). So, after downloading the game, I extract It, and then, I select the "game.exe" file from Joiplay to install the game on the application.

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.

Iirc your version is too old to update have to do a fresh install and convert your save do be warned that if u don't have 8 badges and try to update to the newer versions you can softlock your save

Hey @sonic delta! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

so i've been playing the game for the past week and it worked fine. now it wont launch (it hangs at the intro screen) unless i disconnect from the internet. if i launch while offline and reconnect back online afterwards, it hangs if i keep "auto download sprites on" whenever a new sprite is needed, even if im connected online. so im assuming something is suddenly wrong with the auto download. any ideas?

To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

If you are running into any problems, I've made a wonderful guide. (It's not a guide.)

1. Download the mobile zip. It's in #downloads at the top, qiwi.gg at the time of making this. If the site is down, you're fucked, and oh well. If you say "duh but I'm not on mobile 🤓" I hope whoever is helping you stops helping you. I don't care if you're not on mobile, and neither do they. Download it. Listen to whoever is helping you. They know what they're talking about.
2. Extract it.
3. Run game.exe. If it works, congrats you got the game running!
   If you want sprites, go download the sprite pack. Full or update depending on your situation. Full if you're installing the game brand new, update if you had the pack from the month before. Extract those sprites, and put CustomBattlers (a folder) into your Graphics folder (a folder where you extract the zip from step 1)

Hey @gaunt sphinx! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .exe file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!
