Like… what caused this?

The Pokémon that crashed the game was a Nincada body, Shieldon head fusion that would jitter the game slightly when it was glossed over… but I can’t unfuse it because it was a wonder trade.

Is this just gonna happen whenever I launch this game now?

It didn’t used to do this till the crash happened.

If the game lets me back in… I’m yeeting that Pokémon out of my box

I don’t care if it caused the problem or not. But it cost me about an hour of gameplay and a couple evolutions.

Also how long do I wait for this to start before I try and figure out what’s actually wrong?

To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

@gleaming olive you first need to save them Image with the index name in the case of Cradily/Moltres it's 302.146 then go to the graphics folder then select custom battlers and finally indexed and look for the folder of the first number being 302 paste the custom sprite in there and you're set

Hey @near charm! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

Hi, I'm new here, I'm not sure if I'm in the right spot. But I'm having trouble with the game. I think I only downloaded the patch of the game cause when I try to play the new 5.2.1 version. The Gengar vs Nidorino fight happens, they fuse and the screen goes black with Version 5.2.1 on the bottom and keybinding:F1 on the top left. But nothing changes after that, it just stays like that even after 10 minutes of waiting. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

It's an audio issue. Make sure a playback device is enabled, an audio device is connected to your device, or you can install a virtual audio cable in the rare circumstance that you don't have an audio device.

so basically im updating my spritepack and kiwi explained to me how the custombattlers folder works. when you add sprites in the folder and start the game , the game will notice all files with two numbers, a dot in the middle AND a letter at the end. example of the name: 111.112a

then it gets indexed and you can choose the alt inside your pokedex

Hey @marble wharf! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Or 2: Delete them

Then load up the game again

If no custom sprites are on there then it'll stop giving that menu

For me this problem occured when my WiFi died, depending on the version youre trying to play re-starting your computer or checking the internet might be a fix

Should be as simple as downloading the patch zip and extracting it on top of your current files and replacing them. Now there are certain complications like the version being too old for the patch, randomized pokemon needing to be reshuffled, and what not.

hi, i changed my character sprite to the mewtwo alternate and it was working fine. now the running sprite simply disappeared and i'm not sure why as "boy_run" is still in the folder. i tried to replace the sprite with the original again and it's still the mewtwo with no run sprite

Hello! I've been trying to get alternate base sprites to work for my game, and I've checked my folders and I do actually have the sprites inside what I believe to be the correct places, but I can't get them to pop up.
My alt fusions sprites do work though

Talk to the Update Man, in the pokecenter, and choose "Fix Game". If you experience more related issues after having him fix it, try restarting the game and choosing "Fix Game" again.

Where did you put the alternate base sprites?

In the "Other" folder, there's another folder called "Alternate base sprites"

The "Other" folder is just how the sprite packs are organized. You can find the game's base sprites at .\Graphics\Battlers\

But they seem to all be organized in individual folders for each pokemon, am I going to have to manually place every sprite in there folder separately

Seems related to sprites and the dynamic version's gimmick is downloading new sprites, that you encounter for the first time. Preloaded may help.

yeah I just realized why the dynamic one is 600mb and preloaded is 2GB

I replaced my trainer sprite with mewtwo, but the run sprite wasn't showing up. So then I tried replacing the trainer sprite to the original and my sprite won't update, the sprites are all PNGs and are in the infinitefusion_preloaded_5.2.1_full\Graphics\Characters\players folder. Is there something I'm missing?

When I try to close the black screen, it's wrote "The RGSS script seems to be stuck. Infinite fusion will now force quit."

Hey @jaunty bloom! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Dynamic doesn't store any sprites on your computer so it downloads them when you see them

You just create a new folder. And extract the .zip into it. Just like how you got it to play the first time

Great. These are the only things you need to do. Nothing extra. Create a new folder. Extract that zip into that folder. Play the game. Your save will still be pulled up by the new extraction
