Hey can anyone tell me why this error keeps appearing when I load the game? I just downloaded the game (latest version as well) yesterday and it never gets past the loading screen

Hey @eternal dawn! Are yo having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .exe file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

Hey @wraith fable! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

There has been A LOT of changes. I can't name them all. If you don't switch any future updates that come out you will never be able to play so you should just switch while the getting is good

When you went to download the game, there should have been 2 options of zipped folders. One labled dynamic and one labeled preloaded.

Preloaded is a larger file and starts up a little slower. But is more stable and runs smoother for most systems without tweaks

Yup. Use cheat engine to give yourself magic boots and the magic boots allow you to go into the debug menu. I highly reccomend not doing that and just play the game again

Ah right, i see the issue - Click on fresh install instead of the little tickbox, there you have 2 options, Dynamic (wich downloads the sprites as you go) and preload, wich is a bigger file, obviously.

So what i have found so far, is that when you use a xbox (or playstation controller) it keeps sending the imput to the game instead of the keybind menu, so right now, i cant really find a way to change the keybinds, i tried to open the file aswell, but to no avail, sorry i dont have a solution

I'm unsure of the reason or if there's a "correct" way to fix it, but someone had this a day or so ago and my solution was for him to send me his save file and I did a hacky workaround of changing the 3rd "game variable" to a float value.

In the error, in "Full script", a the bottom it has "pbGet(3)" which is a temp pokemon name, not a float value, which is the issue.

Hello everyone, im new to the dc but not the game, ive been playing for a couple months now. i got my brother to download and play the game yesterday, and now hes having an issue where when he opens the game, it "plays the intro cutscene with gengar and nidorino then the screen just goes black and the menu music plays." any help would be much appreciated!

I just downloaded the game and I'm just leaving the first Pokemon center but it takes at least a minute for the game to transition to things, for some reason entering buildings, wild encounters, and trainer battles aren't taking long to load but leaving wild encounters, leaving trainer battles, exiting buildings or other places, and going into other routes takes a while to load in, I looked online and it seems this happens to a lot of other people, I don't know if this is a bug or something else, but I can't deal with taking a minute just to leave a wild encounter. Hey, howdy - running into a strange tech error right now that keeps crashing my game.

I'm playing a Randomized run of the game, and trying to challenge Brock. However, any time I run into one of the trainers leading up to him, they crash the game. They do the "!" bubble, say their first line... and nothing. The music still plays in the background (and eventually cycles away from "startled trainer" to the "gym ambience" track), and I can't progress the dialogue. I've waited around 10 minutes on a few times, but closing and re-opening doesn't fix it. Instead, I always get this error eventually when I press the X button to quit the program.

Again, I've quit out and reloaded the save a number of times, with no results. Changing around the Mons in my team doesn't help (and I don't have any Mons in the PC), and this happens with both of the trainers in Brock's gym (it's Ice type, if that makes any sort of difference, although I doubt it).

Larger picture of what I mean:

I have no clue if this issue is also happening with wild "!" trainer fights, as there aren't any left for me to talk to (besides rechallenging old ones, which seems to still work just fine).

Also, just talking to them without triggering the "!" didn't help. I'm going to leave it for about 20 minutes now and see if there is any progress... 😅

Hey @trim sparrow! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

The patch in the download should help you update from v4 to v5 and there should be a .bat file to migrate your v4 save to be a v5 save

Hey @stone kite! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Hey @civic berry! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

It depends. Dynamic has a lot of problems when it comes to randomizing the game. I recommend getting the preloaded so both of you have the same amount of sprites off the get go.

I haven't looked into it but the starter information must be kept somewhere other than the encounter file. It shouldn't be difficult to send the other person all the files that aren't images and have them replace their files with it

I had a windows update and now the game experiences long pauses between any area or opening menus. It runs better as I play and I assume more stuff is loaded, but exiting and opening again resets everything and long load times return. Game ran perfectly before windows update.

This is the training crash error on rando, seems like it's having problems actually randomizing the trainers. Works fine if you turn off the random trainers, and random gym leaders works fine. Been searching this discord and havent found a fix if there is one yet

I'm troubleshooting the "Right Room of the Battle Factory" bug that's affecting some people. Issue is in the first image, moment you go in for a duel, you get stuck invisible in that battle room without being able to do anything. I noticed that (as you can see in the second image) the Right Room does not have an area name displayed in the left corner, above the time. The Left Room does. To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

with the file explorer open, drag your file a.rxdata to your desktop then run the game

if it still gives the corruption error then file b is corrupted

if not then file a was corrupted
