Hello everyone, I dont really know where to post this, but I've had this weird glitch where I fought the Dialga/Palkia/Giratina Fusion and the "slow down" effect stayed after losing to the Pokemon. I then talked to update man and he fixed my game, but now every time when I try to go into the boss fight again, my game crashes with this error message

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Hey guys, I downloaded and indexed the custom sprites, they're showing in my pokedex, but even after switching back and forth it only shows the default in game

So I sometimes get what is explained in FAQ number 8, the whole "The ground is a black void". Seems to be random parts of the map only though. Had it happen when exiting Mt Moon on Pewter's side, teleporting to that Pokecenter, randomly after a wild battle on Route 4. Also Route 11 seems to always be that way on my Laptop. Crazy thing is, never had this happen on my Desktop

Only thing I can think of is I got the build for my Laptop here, as opposed to the site

Sometimes you can get a sprite swap to work by leaving the pokedex and checking it in the party screen or the Box screen. Other times I've gotten a swap to work by saving and exiting the game, then loading back in. And sometimes even that doesn't work. It's a known issue they are still figuring out.

Hello, anyone have any advice for getting the game to run on steam deck. The furthest I have gotten is past the home screen where it shows different fusions. After this it loads to a black screen. I let the black screen load for about 10 mins but nothing happens. I have tried different versions of Proton but always get the same result. Is there an older version of the game that works better on steam deck?

So I'm having random tile sets becoming "void" a majority of the time, but not all the time. Didn't apply any patch, just downloaded Dynamic 5.2.1 from the discord. And the crazy thing is, it works just fine on my Desktop, only having issues on my laptop. An example being the entrance to Mt Moon on Pewter's side if I exit Mt Moon, it happens, if I teleport to that Pokecenter, but not if I travel from Pewter to there..., had it happen after a wild battle on Route 4, Pokémon Tower and Route 17 seem to always voided for some reason

and going off the Known Bugs on the FAQ, it's from a not compatible patch, which I never installed on my laptop ?

To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Ok I figured it all out. Easiest way on PC, IMO, is to just use Steam. Settings > Controller > Desktop Configuration, map the buttons to the keys in the F1 menu, then remove the gamepad inputs in the F1 menu.

The readme file says into the game's directory, but I can't find that, and last time I tried doing this it never gave me the option to overwrite any files and the game got corrupted.

Hey @nimble moat! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

1: Extract Modern Mode files into the game files using WinRAR or 7.zip (I used 7.zip)
2: Open the now extracted Modern Mode file and select cut and paste (the scissors icon) for Data. Go back into the general game files, paste. It should ask if you want to replace pre-existing files. Click replace. This'll replace the regular data with the Modern Mode data.
3: Do the same for Graphics.
4: Boot up game, start a new game. Idk if it'll work at all with pre-existing files, because on my save A file it corrupted encounters.

Hey @errant edge! Are yo having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .exe file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

-Attempted to update my graphics cards, both are up to date
-Tried disabling one card
