Hey @faint parcel! Are you having trouble starting the game? Here are a few common errors you might be experiencing:

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

  1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
  2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
  3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
  4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
  5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

why are there so many missing entries in my pokedex? even though I have caught an ivysaur it doesn't show here and I fused klingklang and porygon too, and it doesn't have a custom sprite, same with cofagrigus and arceus and a lot more and the thing is even the pokedex doesn't show all the pokemon so I can't change the sprites....

Hey @tawdry nimbus! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

For missing entries, when you catch a fusion and unfuse it only the body pokemon is registered, so in order to get both entries you need to unfuse, refuse to opposite, then unfuse again. And it is correct that you can only change sprites for Pokemon that you've seen. Having them all be see-able in the Pokedex would make dynamic pointless

Hello. First of all, im really enjoying the game despite my issues. Currently the game is running exceptionally slow ie: long black load screens and it is consuming 80% of my memory space according to the task manager. I figured maybe it was because i was downloading custom sprites as I went, but now i think i followed the instructions to have all the packs added right away. Is there any sort of insight i can glean from this or is this game just that intensive on my pc?

I have a problem that completely prevents me from progressing in the game. In the dragon type gym in Johto, the first trainer I meet (and who is required to fight) blocks me completely. so i just did that, first i copied the folder in it's entirety and added it into the previous version's folder and tried to start the game and had no luck. it said it was still 5.1.3.3 or whatever. Then i took all the files from the Data file of the new version and placed them into the data folder for the older version, replacing the already existing files and still no dice. I'm not sure I'm doing thbis correctly lol

Nothing can likely be done about issues experienced on mobile, unfortunately. You can ask for help in the video's comments section if you'd like.

No dedicated mobile version of IF will be developed in the future.

Everything inside the folder is placed in that folder

So take everything out of the patch folder and put it in the folder that has the Pokémon Infinite Fusions.exe

And the sprite pack is the same way, put all of images in the sprite pack into Graphics, more specifically in CustomBattler

Hey @grizzled kelp! Are you having trouble starting the game? Here are a few common errors you might be experiencing:

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

  1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
  2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
  3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
  4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
  5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Hey @sterile pivot! Are yo having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .exe file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!
