Hey @silk kernel! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Corrupted/incompatible saves are most commonly created when updating, when interrupting the save process, when using cheat/debug tools, or when saving on a drive that doesn't have enough memory left to write

Unless u replaced the wrong files or u didn't replace all the files there's no way for the game to recognize the previous files

U can but it's not an in-game thing u just go into the game's files and replace them with the appopriate spritemaps

As long as the new spritemap is named the same as the old one and it has the proper dimensions, the code doesn't care

The issue here is with the modern mode files, so the solution is to extract a new copy of the game and play the fight using that

After that fight u can go back to ur first copy to resume modern mode

Hey @serene fossil! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Hey @ionic owl! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Hey @mystic shadow! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Figured it out go to #downloads get the spirit pack and copy all of those sprits and folders with a+Ctrl and paste them Graphic--->CustomBattlers

Do I need the preloaded version or is there a way to avoid this runtime error in the dynamic version?

For the both of you that are having the, missing game.ini, you made your file system too complicated for the game. Make a new folder on desktop. Extract a full version into that. Play it. @quaint rune @raven sapphire
