I had trouble getting this to work last night I was on version 5.0.36 before being told it wasnt the latest version. Venusaur/gyrados wasn't showing up as the latest sprites and I wanted to get it to show up as one of the latest sprites. I was told to download just the patch in that screenshot, so I did so, but my venusaur gyrados is still showing up like that in game. how can I update my sprites? I am now currently on version 5.1.3.3

Hey @covert rune! Are yo having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .exe file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

save data is kept seperate from the game files - so long as you follow the instructions in the patch, it should be as simple as copying over the files and opening the updated game

If you're getting that error then you'll likely get lots of other errors, it looks kinda like you might have moved the folders / files incorrectly? Like this is what my CustomBattlers folder looks like:

Every fusion pokemon should be inside the indexed folder, and each indexed pokemon has its own subfolder

Hey @edgy pike! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

I've been trying to randomize the game and getting this error code each time. I've fully randomized Pokémon encounters, and randomized all items except for shops. Not entirely sure what I need to fix to make it function.

EDIT: Changing the randomizer for Pokémon to "Global" instead of "Area" seemed to fix it.

I had a programmer friend look at the error message for me and he said it was failing to create a file due to denied access and to make sure it isn't all in a system folder... so I moved it all to my desktop and it works now.

I want random wild Pokemon, but no wild fusions. Now, I'd expect the last option in the Pokemon tab, "Fuse everything: Include fused Pokemon in the randomize pool for wild Pokemon" would be that exact thing. But leaving it off doesn't seem to do that. I'm still getting fusions in the wild.

that bug usually means the game can't detect any custom sprites, and it's failing to generate a randomized game for you. You have to install a sprite pack or play through normally.

Hey @silver frost! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Hey @worthy path! Are you having trouble starting the game? Here are a few common errors you might be experiencing:

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

I worded that poorly. I meant to say, the soft reset function is currently bound to F12 (even if it actually crashes the game). I want to change it to a different key, even though it crashes the game.

I added the game to my Steam library, and F12 is for screenshotting.

Again the reason u can't change it is because it's not expressly implemented through the game's keybinding application. It's either a part of the Pokemon Essentials kit or of RPGMakerXP itself, but either way it's not possible to influence using ur keybindings.mkxp1 file

So, network error is a generic error thrown by the computer in a few cases. One common one is that you ran out of bandwidth or disconnected from the network mid download.

Another possibility is that your firewall or browser blocked the download - although that more often shows a different error message.

It's also possible that you ran out of space on your hard drive.

It's ALSO possible that you've exceeded your download limit with MEGA and it didn't notice until partway through the download.

It's attempting to read an integer like 1 step too soon, and/or the ID it is reading just fails

Like ID 0 isn't a valid ID for a Pokemon so I think it's returning 0 bc there's an error fetching the ID

If moving the folder doesn't work u can see if extracting a new Data folder and replacing ur current one helps

No, the savefile bit is just a shortcut to the savefile's actual location. Deleting the shortcut doesn't do anything. U need to double-click the shortcut and then delete File A.rxdata from that location

The letters denote that they are an alternate sprite and that u can switch to them using their pokedex entry, assuming they're properly ordered

As long as they don't share the exact same name, they won't overwrite each other, and as long as ur not missing a letter or something to that effect the pokedex will work fine

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Use RAR to manually delete all infinite fusion files, as well the zip files of other versions. Manually clear the app caches of RAR, files, Joiplay, and all Joiplay plugins, then use RAR to uninstall joiplay and its plugins. Lastly clean your phones memory in settings and restart your phone. After everything is clean install the 5.0.36.4 zip (FULL ZIP NOT ZIP.PATCH) and move it from download to internal storage. Create a new folder in storage for Infinite Fusion, then use RAR to extract the zip into the empty Infinite Fusion folder. After the game is extracted make sure you download Joiplay and its plugins directly from their website, not patreon or a third party site.

Once you have the patch downloaded, copy all the patch files directly over the main game files in the main game folder. Then, you're done.
