it tells you where to find it

open up the file to read the traceback to figure out why its so big

the game can only run so much information all at once, so if there's something causing it to overload itself with information, its gonna crash

you can consider that a built-in exception to the code

whenever it detects something that isn't one of its predetermined outputs, it raises a runtime error

also, open up the main file in the script and read line 14

No. If the game is working everywhere else then something else is up. It is hard to determine why though. The error is making it sound like it is failing to give the trainer random pokemon. Maybe it has something to do with the custom sprites

Hey @hot flicker! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Your savefile is corrupted and needs to be restored/deleted. A link to the save folder called Savefile is located in the game folder. Check the first pinned message in tech-support for details. You may be able to restore it by right clicking your savefile (titled File X.rxdata where X is the save slot) and selecting Properties. In the Previous Versions tab you may have an earlier version available depending on your backup settings and you can restore it. Otherwise, you'll just have to delete the file. Always make backups.

Try this. If you know for a fact its using Rhydon's cry, rename another cry to Rhydon's and see if your fused monster sounds like the new mon

Might be because the current version of Modern isn't made for the current version of the game available. You can circumvent this by unpacking the game again, launching it from there, fighting Giovanni and then swapping back to your modern game folder (your saves are going to be shared, so don't worry about moving anything)

It's a temporary fix me and my friend are using, and it's worked for every instance of this error popping up that I've encountered

You extract the sprite zip, take the custom battlers folder inside it and then copy paste it into your graphics folder, and say yes when it asks you to overwrite files. Then on your next launch, the game will index the new sprites

usually happens, when you pick up a pokemon and then use the fusion option, which doesnt work in that order for some reason. If you wanna fuse two pokemon, choose the "fuse" option first, then pick it up.

Idk how, but I somehow broke my game. The pokeradar doesnt work and I also dont get any wild encounters anymore. I did have to use the debugger recently, cause I was stuck in the tri battle lounge, maybe that caused some issues. Any way to fix this?

Hey @unkempt crow! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

I went to the "fighting" gym in Saffron, which was made into a Ghost gym. I forfeited against a trainer in the gym. All of a sudden, EVERY new trainer in the overworld follows the rules for the gym. So every trainer I run into is mono-ghost. I tried using the Update guy to reshuffle the trainers.. but then they were mono-poison. I did it again, and they were mono-psychic.

I'm sure this must've been brought up somewhere but I can't find it with a quick search, but a lot of Pokemon both in my box and in my party are still showing their icons as fused once defused, even if they haven't fused with the other Pokemon shown in the icon. Examples: Hoothoot previously fused with Rattata shows icon fused with Raticate; Ledyba/Jigglypuff fusion shows as Ledyba/Smeargle fusion while a Jigglypuff/Smeargle fusion is also in this box.

Hello i got a question. I ran the full version 5.1.2.4 through the regular launcher and it will just close the game randomly with no error message shown. I used the alternate launcher and it runs fine but when exiting any building or battle it takes up to 30 seconds or more to load same with unfusing. Alright so I messed up bad:
I hated how OneDrive was eating 25% of my laptop's memory all the time. It's annoying, right? So, I go to disable sync.
This was a mistake.
Everything on my desktop vanished except for couple steam games, and to my horror, Pokemon Fusion was one of the things lost.
I re-enabled sync...
And my god it says it'll be over a day before the sync is done.

So, basically, anyone else have issues with OneDrive wanting to sync your PIF files and how to avoid that happening?

You will have to finish syncing, then move everything to a save place (maybe C:/MYStuff), then make sure your places are no longer synced, then move your files back. THEN go into onedrive from the website and delete that copy of it so you don't have a weird version on their cloud server

Hey @dense yarrow! The game isn't made to be played on mobile! You can try to use Joiplay to run it, but the game will likely be very slow, glitchy, or downright unplayable.

Hey @quick oracle! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

hey guys I downloaded the game for the first time to try and play it and whenever i try to open it i get this error and I just genuinely have no idea what i did wrong

Downloaded the full version. Can boot the game, but the character is walking in all black tiles, cant see anything. Tried saving and loading again, but didnt fix. Any tip to fix this? Could it be that my old notebook just cant run the game smoothly?
