I didn't get an error message about it, but I've been noticing that my pokeballs have been disappearing by themselves over time. at one point I had enough that I had to scroll to see them all, but now all I have left are a few lure balls. Everything else, including my master ball, disappeared by themselves

I restarted my save and it turns out I hadn’t saved for a while so I ended up at a point when I still had them, but I’m worried it’ll just happen again

More than likely it is because of hardware but you may try this. Use the alternate launcher.exe and turn off fusion icons in the game settings

Your problem is that you downloaded everything and extracted the game into a folder that has more pokemon infinite fusion stuff. Make a folder on your desktop and extract infinitefusion_5.1.1.1-full.zip into that folder. Then play the game. If it works, delete the stuff you are showing me

5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

when launching through steam then opening steam overlay, then selecting configure controllers. the controller configure window crashes because of some error. Definitely some issue that the devs have to fix.

The full game comes with like 50 custom packs? So not ALL of them. You just have to make sure that the images that are part of those packs go into custombattlers. You don't want any folders in custombattlers besides indexed. I don't know how the save file works on the mac but on PC the save file is saved in a totally different spot. And the steamdeck saves it in a totally different spot as well.

So, your game has custom sprites just not all of them.

Hey @rain pulsar! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

Hey @sterile pivot! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

To those using Crossover on Mac instead of WINE, if you're finding that the bottle you create will run the program but not create a launcher you can get it to create a launcher by using:

Run Command > Browse > Finding the Pokemon Infinite Fusion.exe > Save Command as Launcher

This will allow you to actually create a launcher instead of having to reinstall to the bottle every time like my dumb ass did.

Hey @fringe canyon! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

Hey @hot flicker! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

I will try to explain in the best way possible. Do the quests in the Hotels. You will get a lantern that can act as the HM Flash. If you register that item and use it in the registered menu, you can use the item multiple times to remove the darkness effect
