well your processor is okay but your card is really good so its not a hardware problem. Honestly I don't know what you are supposed to do to fix the black screen problem but this is what I would do. Delete the folder the game is in. Make a folder on your desktop. Extract the game into that folder. While it is extracting don't touch your computer. Wait until it finishes. If you don't want to do that try launching, alternate launcher.exe That version takes longer to load so don't touch your computer at all while the game is loading. It takes over 5 minutes for the game to load fully. NO TOUCHY WHY LOADY

Y'all, I need your help. I just downloaded the game (as in, the files for the game), but so far I can't get anything to work. On 7z when I tried to launch the game, it just gave me an error. The alt startup didn't work, either. Tried using the patch. Nada. Ported it to Windows Files, still nothing.

usually the stuck thing happens if you do some input before a script finishes. On some slower computers it can happen more frequently. Not sure if there's a specific raicune issue though

only thing I can think of is that your switch controller has some minor drift, and it's being interpreted as inputs for some reason

if there is you might be able to mask it with some other program, though I don't know enough about how controller input is interpreted by RPGmaker to tell you if that would fix it for this

Hey guys I just installed the game and everytime I go into or out if a house or anywhere it loads for like 40+ seconds, does anyone know how to fix that?
Generally takes way longer when I go outside a house bc prob has to load the whole map but I it's still so long.

Hi everyone, I have the same issue than Mr. Labo had earlier with some tracks not playing in the game. So far the issue occurred at the bike path after Celadon, and in the safari zone (not sure if the kind of temple inside safari zone has the same music or not, but still no music playing inside). The safari gate has proper music playing, though. Here's the screenshot with the files. I haven't seen any weird symbols except for the Lake Crater one. Could you please help ?

What to the sprites do

They just make the fusions look nicer. The fusions in the game are sort of like Mr. Potatohead. Each mon has a head body and limbs. Those parts are sort of just thrown together so it can look a bit off. The custom sprites fixes that and people who are talented have fixed the fusions to make them look more natural or completely different in a really good way

To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Yes I fixed it if you have modern mode you need to un-zip the game file Again so that it overwrites Giovanni's teams (and one Victory road trainer).

Do this for every giovanni fight.

Hello. I just joined the server. I was wondering if it's normal to take a long time to extract the game files? I'm using the Windows default but I did a quick search and people were recommending 7zip, which I do have installed. I was having issues before Windows randomly decided to start extracting.

It's estimating that it's going to take 23 more minutes and it's at 64%. I'm afraid of stopping now since 7zip might be just as slow. So I need to know if this is normal.

Hi I've recently downloaded the game and have been encountering an error when initiating the fight with your rival Blue which closes the game. The error is given in a traceback file which starts with:

The current version I am on is 5.1.1.1 with the patch installed, as well as the modern version with the latest custom sprites pack.

Follow Up: After reinstalling everything it seems like the issue might be on the Data end from the modern version. Maybe some sort of compatibility issue?

I believe modern mode is inbuilt in 5.1+, so you don't want to install it in that version

still if it's your first time through I highly recommend the original, you can still get mons from future gens via pokeradar, and the trainer dialogue is pretty funny and only makes sense in the original

Hey @deft drift! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

Think i figured out my issue as well, just had a repeat sprite since I put in all 1 - 85 sprite packs into my folder
