Hey @nova crane! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

you can, it wouldn't affect anything - iirc in order for an alt to be switchable, it needs to be in the main custombattlers folder

Hey @west rain! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

Hey @whole elm! The game isn't made to be played on mobile! You can try to use Joiplay to run it, but the game will likely be very slow, glitchy, or downright unplayable. Nothing can likely be done about issues experienced on mobile, unfortunately.

No mobile version will be developed in the future, either.

there should be a bat file in the 5.0 game folder

you will have to go relearn all your mons moves since they'll basically be random, but there should be a guy upstairs that works as a move relearner in the pokecenter

Hey @sterile pivot! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Hey @rapid lark! Are yo having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .exe file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

Hey @mellow heart! The game isn't made to be played on mobile! You can try to use Joiplay to run it, but the game will likely be very slow, glitchy, or downright unplayable. Nothing can likely be done about issues experienced on mobile, unfortunately.

No mobile version will be developed in the future, either.

F1 is for the controls, you need to get in game and open the start menu for options to adjust sound, I think also the main menu has an options
Also if you're on windows double check your sound mixer, sometimes it can do silly things like mute certain programs

Hey @lunar marsh! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

Hey @chilly badger! The game isn't made to be played on mobile! You can try to use Joiplay to run it, but the game will likely be very slow, glitchy, or downright unplayable. Nothing can likely be done about issues experienced on mobile, unfortunately.

I have a question about a postgame element. So to avoid spoilers, I'll be vague: I am trying to do something and the NPC in charge of the thing I want to do said I already did it, even though I have not. I have version 5.0.36.2, if that matters or helps. Also, let me know if it is okay to be less vague. I'll spoiler tag some specifics and hope for the best: ||I want to triple fuse the Gen 2 starters, but Blondie is telling me that I already cloned them, when I have not. Hey @nova crane! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

Hey @winged badger! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

this means your save is borked, if you go into the save folder C\Users\(you)\AppData\Roaming\infinitefusion there should be a second file names something.bak - just rename it by removing the bak, and make the old save (the one named something.rxdata) not named that

Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

Hey @rich harbor! The game isn't made to be played on mobile! You can try to use Joiplay to run it, but the game will likely be very slow, glitchy, or downright unplayable. Nothing can likely be done about issues experienced on mobile, unfortunately.

No mobile version will be developed in the future, either.

Also this just happened, I tried to using a sqirtle egg with a marowak. Thinking that it would like just kinda speed past being an egg bit.
Instead the fusion was an egg now.

Unfused them, now there's an egg named Marrowak and there is a level 1 Squirtle in my PC

Hello People! I cannot for the life of me deactivate Random pokemon. When I turn the option off, my pokeradar shows the original route pokemon but I still encounter pure randoms. Thoughts?

Hey @sullen fox! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

Maybe not entirely random, actually! The fusion pokemon I encounter are made up of the pokemon on the pokeradar. This is true even when I turn random off (fusion pokemon are made of the pokeon supposed to be on the route)

so like, my character froze entering a pokecenter where the 2nd gym should be and anything I press doesn't do anything. cant move, cant open menus, cant save. the issue is that I've been playing for 6 hours and never saved since. any way for me to save without directly pressing save in the menu? autosave's off, fyi

Hey @formal crow! Are yo having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .exe file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

Hi so I've recently gotten back into the game, and need some help with something, the game seems to freeze for a few moments when I do any of these things
-Unfuse pokemon x2 happens when it says they unfused and when it loads the two sprites
-Switching pokemon
