Like when I enter the grotto below viridian city. All I could see was my character and the 4 item battles. The rest of the screen was black. I could still encounter Pokemon and tell when I was running in grass. After a battle ended it would be fixed and I could see again.

so i tried adding the custom espeon/gastly sprite to the game because i realize i don't have it and i don't wanna stare at the autogen, but when i put the one in #sprite-gallery into custombattlers, the summary screen shows nothing. not the autogen, nor the custom sprite.

Ah so your save isn't stored in the game's folder, it's in a separate spot on your device. If you're playing v5, it should be at:
C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\infinitefusion

The folder in the sprite packs called "custombattlers", that has all the fusions in it. You can either -
Grab all the images in it and drag them into your game's custombattlers folder (found in the graphics folder) and click replace
Or, you can drag the entire folder itself into the game's graphics folder and click replace

Your game's folder will likely have a bunch of sprites in it already, this is ok. When you put new ones in it'll give a prompt to replace and you click it

I triggered a cutscene in Mt Moon in 4.9.1, when you didn't need rock smash. I got wiped before I could make it to Celadon, and then upgraded to the current version. Whenever I try to open the game, it opens as an unresponsive black screen and when I close it, it says "the rgss script seems to be stuck". Any way I can fix this? I just downloaded the game today and haven't yet been able to successfully launch it.

when you download and extract the main folder, do you also need to extract the file with the game application?

whenever i click on the application, it says I need to extract, but then when the extraction gets to like 10% an error occurs withe the animation folder, followed by an error with the common events folder

If you're trying to patch v4 with v5 then yeah it won't work, you'll need to install the full v5 version in #downloads and extract it to a new folder

Nah it should be fine. V5's folder comes with a batch file that moves it over when you run it

It'll mess up your movesets on your mons so you'll just need to go to the move relearner at a pokecentre, but aside from that it'll be good to go

Try using the patch on it and see if it still has the issue. If not then it can be the case that while the download files didn't install right or not. It's the only thing I can think of

Install it again on the same folder and click no when it ask you to overwrite the files. It should get to the last files that are missing.

You can try to patch the game. It's important that you put your safe file somewhere else though. It shouldn't overwrite it but it can sometimes happen. Also make sure that your pc/laptop doesn't use to much Cpu-Ram. You can see that by opening your task manager.

While downloading you should've gotten four files. One of them being the game and one being the patch. Now you unzip the patch in the same folder were your game is currently in. It would seem you're missing that file, which seems to be a common problem today try re-extracting the zip you got. Use a program like winrar if possible as windows file explorer does a slow, poor job

Odd case. I played the game for a couple hours today. Saved and quit, but now when I try to boot up the game, nothing happens. The screen doesn't come up. Task Manager says the game is running.

@signal axle ok I had the exact same problem. So first check the folder with the game in it. It should have two things titled Game the icon that launches the game and program thingy called game if your missing the second one open the Zipped file (Don’t un zip it just go into it) and check to see if the program thingy is there if it is copy and paste it into the Unzipped file and you should be good to go.

Hey @uncut brook! The game isn't made to be played on mobile! You can try to use Joiplay to run it, but the game will likely be very slow, glitchy, or downright unplayable. Nothing can likely be done about issues experienced on mobile, unfortunately.

No mobile version will be developed in the future, either.

Hello dear Tech support, I am very looking forward to playing infinite fusion. but I have a problem. I have downloaded and unpacked the game and patch both twice now, did a full re-download and started my game over and yet ...... I've gotten the game to work, except, the overworld backgrounds are .... not there. all the other menu's and bag an opening screen and putting in trainer info so far has worked, but after that my little trainer is in total darkness (it starts on the screen where the bird pokemon drops of the trainer registration). using a playthrough I made it as far as out of the house, but that didnt help... I am still in darkness. Is there anyone who can help? (pic of screenshots added to show what I see, or well .... dont see)
