Basically in this universe Earth is severley fucked up, like really fucked up, causing all life to go extinct, except for the humans who ended up fleeing for the stars. They also were playing around with technology no primitive apes should've been touching, also causing earth to become a rouge planet. They left the remains of their civilization, including an active facility housing a sentient AI system. Her name is SALF, and by using the materials (organic samples and advanced science), shes able to create a new race of creatures, which she dubs Pokemon. A few thousands of years pass and the uninhabited and the previously inactive undergound of earth flourishes with many new plants and Pokemon, all thanks to the efforts of SALF. These Pokemon had already started establishing a heiharchy of the species, where some are workers, some are farmers, and some are corordinators for the unified Hive, etc etc. Yet, one day, SALF detects a signal from Earth's surface, which god knows how long has actually been interacted with. As it turns out the Humans have been sending out various drones to scout out potential materials from their Ancestor's cold and (presumabley uninhabitable), home. SALF and her AI minions continue keeping an close eye on the planet's surface in the meantime, while also attending to the Pokemon hive they had created. Meanwhile, a group of very cheerful and young basic bug type pokemon are having all sorts of fun miscellanious adventures throughout the various Hive divisions.
