the fact i can just inject the dazemu(fastest mounts relatively early) i spent hours breeding for into a fresh save is very wonderful

its speed off of sand(snow is also considered sand to some effect ive noticed) is just barely beat by a 4star direhowl, but 4star on sandy terrain only necromus can beat it, 4star starryon at night matches

for the latter, its saddle is unlocked at lvl 57 and it jumps higher, but dazemu is lvl 22 and with the frequency it spawns in that little sandy area off the bamboo forests?

at that point just use dazemu

thw crazy thing about palworld progression is that you can kinda just. skip the desert? large coal pockets are available on the volcano and in the bamboo forest desert

the only reason to go there is another set of merchants and the twins

based on levels they clearly intend for you to start moving to electric pals for your energy needs, but if you make the trip to the one spot grizzbolt has you covered(and penking/gullet lux! pengullet lux has 2 energy work affinity!!)
