Well, I managed to get a copy of Takopi's Original Sin.
Definitely a... downer of a short series, given that the premise is that a happiness alien ends up getting attached to the daughter of an ... "escort," who is getting bullied by the daughter of a man who "partakes of the escort." And the alien needs to rewind time to prevent the bad end, and make it all right in the end.
Only 6 episodes long. It's very well told. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea.
Could definitely have used a full episode to go into how they are adapting to their circumstances with their new memories, rather than abbreviated happily ever after.

Obviously anime also has more themes, and because of a linear story that leaves it more space to have better written stories and characters that can go on for longer aditonally having only 1 writer also helps instead of jumping different storylines and comics and writers

All off these reasons definetly make me put off by comics, like it's so annoying to go read any comic storyline, an actual pain.

not to mention comic movies/shows almost never adapt faithfully so u really can't continue anything past that point, you'd be totally lost if you just jumped into the source material

heres a bit of an example on how helpful challenge stars are:
if I were to end my current 4* run as a 2* run (i'm a little into 3* territory atm) I'd get 967 plasmids and 47 phage. Thats at 4 stars (you'd wanna do 2 or 3). Now at ZERO I'd be only getting 621 and 26. if I were to bump down to a 3 star it'd still be a hefty 863 and 39 and be a lot faster than a 4 star

Elliptical helps when I have the Heat or ice traits

magnetic helps the early game, stormy helps when I have a race that likes them (and I think windy days count as "clear" days so when I need extreme temps for longer, that helps) and trashed allows for scavengers (global production up for excess population)

Have you ever had a seriously scary frightening horror nightmare bad dream that felt too realistic?
Like for example a dream about caught in a building on fire when the flames spread fast everywhere and you can't survive (no one can if it has people in it) or you are fighting a giant monster and it punches you in the face sending you backwards to a wall with serious injuries and you can't fight back cos your weak and puny compared to the gigantic beast

Not sure if this qualifies or not but I have a story:
I believe it was back in 2021 back when I was in school. It was a Friday night and I could not fall asleep for the life of me and I was up most of the night. I ended up falling asleep and 6:00 sharp I roll over on my left hand side which is something I never do and I shit you not, I heard this raspy voice whisper "you've been chosen by God" and it was audible enough that I snapped up, heart's pounding out of my chest and my room was almost pitch black. I went to check if someone was around and I saw a light on in the bathroom since my parents had church that morning and my brother was fast asleep

Also yeah, I had A dream where I felt like I was being raised up from the bed I was sleeping in (In the dream I was lying on the floor of A living room as if to try and hide from something.) and when I opened my eyes, I was still lying down the way I started sleeping, so I wasnt being raised up, but my hand was behind my back as if to try and grab A weapon.

And then there was A dream that was around 45 seconds, where I readjusted myself in my chair, and then continued to play the game I was playing. I tripped some sort of wire, and A noise started to play, real quiet at first, but it got to the point where I could barely hear A general say, "Sniper deployed,", and I opened my eyes because the sound got too loud, and I could still hear ringing in my ears, although it started to fade away slowly.
