Omg I'm watching a snake discovery video where Emily and Ed are driving to bring 5 sulcata tortoises (And a few other animals) to people who want to adopt them. But this isn't an "I'm happy" thing. Snake Discovery videos make me happy but sometimes they incite rage in me. Not directed at Emily and Ed though. They're fantastic people who this world absolutely does NOT deserve.

One of the tourtise's owner passed away and that person's relatives could not care for it because it was pretty damn massive. Understandable, happens all the time. But what the assholes did is BECAUSE they couldn't care for him, they were going to get him EUTHANIZED! Like it's not that hard to rehome a pet, especially with a closeby reptile rescue. Luckily the vet knew of Snake Discovery and contacted them to take the poor guy but.. deep breath... Doesn't make what the people did any less wrong.

Worst part is it's not the worst I've seen in Emily's videos. In a rescue video, 10 snakes were rescued from the trashcan and several more had already passed in said trashcan. Then 28 more reptiles were confiscated from that person's home on premises of animal abuse
