1. You are required to go back in time twice, so by that logic there should be 2 defeated timelines (obviously you can travel back and forth more then twice, but the timeline couldn’t possibly account for that)
2. When Link returns to the future, he comes back right where he left off. If he had travelled to a different future, he should have had to redo all of the temples
3. Link had a piece of the tri force, so if Link left, Ganondorf wouldn’t have been able to complete the tri force, and he has the completed tri force in the first game after Ocarina on the defeated timeline
