Since I got Mario Party Jamboree for Nintendo Switch as a birthday present, I started to play that game. And there are two boards I don't like -- the shopping mall and Bowser's Keep. Both are difficult and challenging. Even when I manually set the difficulty level to Easy Mode, they are still challenging. The CPU's get ahead of me, esp. from what they buy and stamp in the mall, and from Bowser's control. Sometimes I get stuck in one spot when the conveyor belt changes directions, and when it's Bowser's turn, he turns our spaces into Bowser spaces so he can rob us or scramble us or scramble our coins. It is exasperating! That's what I don't like about the shopping mall board and Bowser's keep.

I got nothing. “A typical card game” literally only makes up about 1/3 of the gameplay. And every third of the game has a different rule set you have to learn. Easiest is probably the third rule change btw, first is a bit on-rails a bit (though an update did turn it into a fun roguelike mode!)

the project itself was basically a dnd campaign that i was running, that i'll have to run the rest of it 1 on 1 for the remaininer player (we were 2-3 sessions away from the end)
hearing his reasons for why he left, if they're opinions on not wanting to be a part of the campaign anymore, would be super helpful for me when i write future campaigns, so that i knowingly avoid anything that made him uncomfortable (if that's why he left, anyway)
even if he ends up not joining back, just having his input on my 2-year long campaign would be invaluable for me, and any future players i have
the campaign itself had gone through 9 arcs, and was literally a month away from ending, but i haven't heard from him since the hurricanes on the east coast this last month

Imagine a Roserade line without Roselia for example, now it's just a weird green bulb that evolve into a Rose lady using a weird stone.
