Finally got around to playing the latest batch of used games I picked up. Started with Punch Out Wii. Great Tiger can just screw off. Moved on to Mario Sunshine for the first time (OG GameCube version) how were the controls even considered good???

Tbf I went from a Wii motion control to GameCube controller, and this was my first exposure to a GC game outside store kiosks and Let's Plays

But in the end I just got frustrated. Compounded by physical exhaustion from the Wii boxing game

I feel like the first game cube controller was a revolution along side playstation controllers. Wii are a novelty, being one of the earliest motion control controllers thats available for a relatively family friendly cheap price than the first VRs at the time, even then theyre mostly experimental

Its wild to think just how much has changed in a short period

The wii controls were more floaty and prone to registering bad inputs.
But the GC controller (which I did pick up used and both had a damaged control stick but it was mostly cosmetic) just felt unresponsive. Like the game itself was laggy or something.

Mario felt like controlling a tank and I couldn't get a hang of the FLUDD controls/aiming

NGL I might have fellt better about Punch Out if it was on the WiiU instead, weirdly enough. Just came out 4 years too early. Could have benefitted from the upgraded motion controls

I am suffering from a disorder that I have made up and is video game related.
I shall christen it "backlog syndrome" meaning I have so many unfinished video games I want to complete but I actually have a save file on every game and hardly got time to finish them all and this is ongoing I simply do not have time to complete 100+ (I lose count lol) games and it's difficult to focus on one game at a time because I spent 1 or 2 hours in most of them but I very barely finished the level/story/campaign/chapter/boss etc and these game have a 30 - 60 game length.
