Finally trying to get through all of South Park, almost done with Season 8, it's had some funny moments n some shitty moments but I've been likin it

So now the plot is “Baron wants to experiment on the sun gun users to find a way to counteract their guns’ powers. Not bad

Well more specifically he “smells like dark power” but doesn’t look like a vampire so the two ladies are just ruling it out

So that’s the gimmick, one blocks ranged attacks, the other melee. So I’ll have to swap characters on the fly

I was thinking about it yesterday but I feel like it'd be cool for a Digimon game to actually let you digivolve mid combat to the next stage during a fight if the extra power is needed (not the stupid MMO) because there hasn't been a game that could do that since you had to digivolve elsewhere and then you could battle with the new form but it doesn't have the same feel and tension of mid fight digivolution to win

Yeah, not the same but I get it. Survive was more story beats than actual evolution by choice like the early Worlds games gave.
But then again, Survive was never meant to be taken as a full title apparently. The producer (at the time) said it was originally made just to tide people over between major installments of the Digimon Story series (Cyber Sleuth/Hacker’s Memory, Re:Digitize, etc.) just thanks to the pandemic, they needed SOMETHING to keep the fans while they worked on the larger title, so it was expanded and given a larger studio (which led to further delays thanks to having to recode everything on a new engine)
