that silent acceptance of a terrible potential, just to get back after a double cross, has cemented reboot Dr Aloysius Animo as my favorite iteration.

Been playing almost all day and I highly recommend. Fun, open-world action RPG with emphasis on the fun instead of bloat.
Also it’s the last video game confirmed that Akira Toriyama worked on and it shows that the company cared about it. Fully voiced and animated (unlike Adventure of Dai) and the characters were made as if their 3-D models were actually drawn by him! Plus animation that looks like manga panels given life!
Side note: As a Dragon Quest fan, why the hell does Bandai love Toriyama’a work better than Square Enix? They always seem to put more care into the products made out of his works.
