Mystia's Izakaya is like the only cooking game I know that does not only bosses but competent ones at that

Basically all of these bosses are like the normal cooking gameplay but with a twist that being you have to meet a certain quota during some time limit
And don't worry the game doesn't make it easy, just about every boss has its own set of bullshit to make that task as hellish as possible
Yuyuko is the first and pretty much the only boss you get for the main game which I guess makes sense seeing how the base game feels more like an overextended demo more than anything but I digress
Honestly other than me being a big stupid the first time I fought her leading to many deaths there's not much to say really
It's the rematch that you should really keep an eye out for but we'll get to that
Anyway back to final boss Yuyuko her boss fight asks for 3 seperate tasks to be met
The first is to get a certain amount of money
The second is to get 5 reward spells (it was previously 10 before Yuyu got nerfed so now I feel like one of those "back in my day" people) while every once in a while one of the customers unleashes their punishment spells on you
Some of these most notably the ones that drive away your consumers can be helpful, some are Mokou
Yeah by all means Mokou's spell is the one you most wanna avoid in this phase, and I could say the same about Kaguya too
Phase 3, at least for the final boss version can be simplified as "SHOVE EVERYTHING DOWN HER GULLET"
DLC 1 which is sorta like a continuation of the base game also has its own unique boss, truly concluding the story of the base game which is a can of worms I'd love to get into, but I have school so that'll have to wait

she gets a unique aegislash, with a different appearance and ability
it's ability is dual wield, which works like as one, so it basically has two abilities, stance change and battle bond
this is the og battle bond, so when it gets a ko, it turns into a 3rd form (or i guess a 3rd and 4th because of stance change)
it gets the same bst increase as ash greninja, so that's +110 bst
its stats are
shield form: 60hp/75atk/175def/75spatk/175spdef/50spe
sword form: 60hp/175atk/75def/175spatk/75spdef/50spe
and this special aegislash is also a reward for 100% completing the region
and it gets a signature move

anyways I'm home from school now and welcome back to my TED Talk ladies, gentlemen, and non-binary pals, where this time we'll be talking about the other boss that I've faced in Mystia's Izakaya that being Yuuma, not listening? Too bad, I'm saying it anyway
I feel like the most apt description for this boss fight is a somewhat fuck this fight personally, garnering the shit scale of about 9.3 out of 11, nothing too high, but still relatively high up on the shit scale if you don't know what you're doing.
Yuuma's entire gimmick is... somewhat unique in comparison to the previous boss and presumably the bosses after her. The most apt way to describe her boss fight is probably "RPG boss implemented into a cooking game". While (presumably) the other bosses in the game usually involve you doing a set of cooking tasks with some sort of catch to make it stand out, all you need to do for the Yuuma fight is to get the counter in the bottom right from 1000 to 0. To explain in a way that makes more sense, think of the task as trying to "defeat Yuuma's hunger".
Of course this is easier said than done particularly because the boss constantly switches the flavoring of the food she likes after a certain number of orders have been met, and you're given very little room for screwing up here. Particularly because screwing up will trigger the boss's first punishment spell where she just devours some of your ingredients, which doesn't sound too bad, until you realize that the punishment card "heals the hunger". Not by a long shot, but for reasons I'll get into a bit later, it's still enough to screw you over. (1/?)
It also doesn't help that fucking up an order greatly boosts what I'd call "Yuuma's intoxication meter". I call it an intoxication meter because Nitori, the kappa you talk to in order to even access this boss fight as well as the one who got you dragged into this shit, specifically tells you before the main event that by no means should you ever give the goat any drinks with overly high amounts of alcohol, and you better take this advice from hers to the grave during the boss fight and ONLY give the goat any highly intoxicating drinks when she demands it because the moment that intoxication meter pops to 100% it'll activate her second punishment card, which is more devastating particularly because of the fact that it "heals" for a larger amount and also because apart of ingredients being at stake so is your own cookware and yes, you heard that right, if that intoxication meter fills up kiss one of your damn cookwares goodbye cause alongside some ingredients that shit's gonna stay in her stomach until the battle ends in one way or another, either you lose and get sent to the title screen or you win although if you manage to activate this spell at least once the former is a more likely outcome. And finally, and a big reason as to why this boss gets a 9.3 on the shit scale is that while just like the Yuyuko boss the fight is 3 phases long, unlike those bosses, Yuuma's boss fight requires you to do it all in one shot. Each of the 3 phases share the same goddamn timer and if you take too slow to deplete that damn "health bar" you get no second chances, the game resets to the title screen and you have to try again from the beginning. It doesn't matter how close you are to getting that 1000 to 0 if you screw up so much that the clock hits midnight even when you're THIS close to depleting the full "health bar" it's practically a game over. You could've had the most perfect run of this battle so far in your many hours of playing the Touhou cooking game but just because that hand hit midnight right when you're at the homestretch of the boss fight probably because you let the boss "heal" too much, you lost the battle and have to start all over from the beginning. If you know what you're getting yourself into this boss is RNG annoyance at first but if you don't then this boss will probably have you begging for the mercy of RNGesus to let you slip in the final blow for this boss fight before the clock ticks to midnight. Anyway thank you for coming or not coming to my TED Talk and... yeah that's it that's the outro. Can't think of anything else more creative lol. (3/3)
