I don't recommend fusion generators, I recommend using something like for example MS Paint to fuse pokemon together

Well, fusion generator are not made to have a good looking fusion but just to have a fusion. to put it in perspective, in infinit fusion there is only 275 base pokemon and with those only it correspond to 75 625 fusion possible. And that's just like 1/3 of base pokemon. and for every pokemon you add you get exponentially more fusion possible. (when it was only the first 151 pokemon it was 22 801 possibility. the number base pokemon didn't even double but the possible fusion tripled.)
just imagine the time it would take to make all of those sprite by hand ? imagine that 10 spriter made 10 sprite a day each it will take 2 all year to only sprite the 75 625 current fusion in game.
Now, if we take every single pokemon (802 I believe ? not sure if meltan is in there) it would be 643 204 possibility. so, it would take 17 year for 10 spriter that do each 10 sprite a day
It's just not worth the time when you just want to have a good laught watching dumb looking fusions (or that you are making a fangame with fusions in them)

On paper hydopump hit 8 time out of 10. wich translate to about 880 damage dealt in 10 turn.
surf hit 100% of the time so it deal about 900 damage in 10 turn
So yeah, the stats would say that surf is better in the long run
But at the end it's depend on your pokemon and if you are willing to gamble. A pokemon with weak defenses but high spe atatck would benefit more from hydropump although it will be a gamble (go big or go home)
(because a weak pokemon won't survive long enough to make the surf hit as much)
It's also why more player use hydropump than surf in strategy. because it's really rare than a pokemon survive that long
But if you do a nuzelock you should totally use surf

How does hostlocke work IYO?

people usually make it like a nuzelock but instead of using the pokemon they catch they keep them in the pc as "possible host" and they fuse one with their starter. If that fusion die then they unfuse it, and fuse their starter to another "host" (the previous host is dead).

Starter mon is the host, and has to be fused with the first encounter you find and catch...also starter should be the head in the fusion.
When the fusion dies: unfuse them, release the body mon and catch a new body for the starter.
Nuzlocke rules still apply...if you cant catch a body on one route, you cant find another one on the same route

so after exchanging 6 hosts and losing them all
you lose the locke
right and about the catching thing you still get 1 encounter per route and you can stock them in your PC
for when you need the new host

I see. I did a mock of cloyster/blissey and the bst was something ridiculous like 649 with great defenses, hp, and average special attack. Speed was very mediocre though, I like that nine tails has good speld and a good speed tier to balance out onastar

It make sens in a way because all fusion have a prefix and a suffix for the name and for abra it's "Ab" and "Bra" . but still, I would have assume that there will be a condition that make it so the fusion of the same species don't go through the naming process. I guess not x)
most pokemon don't have this issue because they don't share letter between their suffix and prefix. but Abra have such a short name
