That would absolutely be understandable if the sprites weren’t actually my own work to begin with. In this case though, the fusion sprites themselves were made and assembled by me in-game. The AI part was only used to enhance the presentation and visual quality around them.

Honestly, I see it more as polishing and showcasing something I already created rather than replacing or disrespecting anyone’s work 😅

I personally think there’s room for a more nuanced discussion around AI tools and creative presentation, especially when the original content and fusion concepts are still made by the player themselves.

From my perspective, experimentation and new creative tools can also be part of evolving as creators and builders within the community — but I still respect the server rules of course.

The in-game fusion sprite and the edited presentation image are not actually the same file, even if they may look similar at first glance. The version I shared was more of a custom visual showcase built around my own team concepts, nicknames and presentation style.

I think there are also a lot of assumptions being made over something that was mainly intended as a fun way to present and discuss fusion ideas, team building and strong Pokémon combinations. That was honestly the main point of sharing it in the first place 😅

None of this would even exist without the work, creativity and dedication of the artists and developers behind the game and its fusion sprites, and I genuinely respect that. The goal was never to insult or replace anyone’s work, but simply to present and discuss team building, fusion ideas and visually interesting Pokémon combinations within the community.

In the end, I was just trying to share enthusiasm for the game and explore creative team concepts with other players.

Yea Infinite Fusion is built on a Gen 7-based version of the Pokémon Essentials engine and while having Gen 8 and 9 Pokémon isn't impossible, it is very tedious and probably won't happen either at all or until everyone else is added
