zorua you can get as early as secret garden off route 1 in remix mode at least
so if you start the run and it turns out the ai doesnt fall for it, youre not too deep into the run and can reset or pivot to a backup option

another funny interaction, if a magic guard/toxic heal pokemon is inflicted with toxic, the toxic counter still goes up each turn theyre out on the field
and if they have their ability removed or replaced, then at the end of that turn, toxic will do however much damage it should do on that turn
so if say, your toxic heal snorlax/gligar is toxic'd by its own orb, is out on the field for 4 turns with toxic, then loses that ability, its losing 1/2 of its hp that turn

So Minior is initially the star inside of the meteor shell.

When you're attacking with it, it will remain in the rocky form while its hp is over half or like 60%, something like that.

If it takes too much damage, the shell will shatter, and it will become its core form. Ergo, it'll be the cute lil star fella.

The rock/shell/meteor form is technically its Ability, so if you want a fusion where it's only the core form, you have to get it low enough HP to turn it into its core form, and then when you fuse it, choose the other ability, whatever it is. You can still choose the Ability to give it the shell, but then you'll be looking at that most of the time 😅

Core form Minior just has more fusion sprites because it's cuter I'm sure 😅 So more fun and creative to draw.

if you fuse minior in either of its forms and DON'T have shields down as its ability, it will stay in whatever form its in when you fuse it
if you fuse minior in either of its forms and DO keep shields down as its ability, then it will function like a normal minior AKA it'll enter its meteor form at the start of battle or end of turn when its HP is above 50%, and enter its core form at the end of a turn when its hp is 50% or below
if you want a minior in its core form, get it to 50% hp or below in battle, then fuse it or what have you before it enters another battle

when fighting enemy minior fusions, i notice they enter their core form as soon as theyre hit by an attack that puts them below 50%, but the animation plays before they take the damage
i assume thats purely visual and they dont actually switch to core stats until the end of that turn
