How i would "play" the story, after beating the Brock, I'd unlock the ability to get the Ground gargoyle (I know "technically" Giovanni is the Ground gym, but that's the final gym and I want access to all of them before that. Plus, the Earth Crest is the first one you obtain in the Demon's Crest SNES game ), after beating Misty I'd get to make the Tidal gargoyle, (idk if Kanto has a flying/wind/air type gym) so after beating Surge I'd get the Aerial gargoyle, after the 4th/5th gym, I'd get access to the Legendary gargoyle and after the 6th/7th gym, I'd get access to the Ultimate gargoyle.
