Hey @lusty spire! Are you looking for a Mimikyu? Mimikyu can be found in the creepy house on route 15 as a static encounter after doing a puzzle. (You will need rock smash, strength, and surf to reach the house.) Enter the house and go down into the basement , then go into each room and move around a bit inside to make sure the game registers you went in.
Next, go to the piano and play until you hear the "run away" sound, then go find the creepy doll in one of the rooms and INTERACT WITH IT; you should get a message along the lines of "This wasn't here before." Go back to the piano and repeat this until the doll shows up in all four rooms and INTERACT WITH IT EVERY TIME.
Once you've done this go to the piano and play again until Mimikyu shows up behind you and runs down. Follow it to the first room to find it waiting to fight.

Generally any mechanic that could only be specific to one of the fused mons (like breeding, mon-specific held items, etc) are dependent on the body. I think that's also how unfusing with IVs/Evs works

The head will have no EVs and the body will keep the best IVs

Honestly it's not even that broken to deal with on it's own it's just that it invalidates almost every setup Pokémon which is an insane amount of stuff that gets beaten by just one Pokémon
