that's the problem with patents laws. If you make something and are afraid that someone else will do a better version, you put patent on it so you are the only one that can work on it. These are my top 6 picks for new pokémon to be added to the game, I picked these because I think they could make some fusions look great

Araquanids head could look cool on so many pokémon, and it'd be super interesting to see other bug and steel pokémon replace his head
Toxicroak has a great colorscheme for head fusions, and his body is very cool as well, although some fusions will probably look goofy with his proportions
Conkledurr would be so cool mostly because he has such a cool and unique body shape, and I can only begin to imagine what his pillars could be replaced with when fused. admittedly his head would look very goofy on all pokémon I can think of though😅
Malamar is my favorite pick I think because both his head could have so many cool fusions, I mean honestly every single pokémon I can think of would look great with his tentacle head, and his body type is really recognizeable and a one of a kind
Decidueye I think would be very cool since there's so many cool dynamic poses you can do with characters wielding a bow, and he just has a cool head and body for the more edgy bipedal pokémon
Passimian is also a pokémon I think'd be great since his poses could be very dynamic, not to mention all the stuff people would replace his ball with in fusions, I mean, imagine a magneton fusion where he's just holding a magnemite😄
