Which is why they should have kept it around permanently. Give it to lesser known mons and make the later games do more with it. Im not even saying get rid of dynamax or terastalizing. They could have been different strains of mega evolution. Imagine this: a mega ring can be used with a mega stone and a pokemon you have that can mega evolve. No other pokemon can dynamax other than ones with megas. Then, it GIGANTAMAXES. Gigantamaxes could have been a form of mega evolution.

Same with terastalizing. Maybe change the mega form and crystalized look a bit, and bam.

So it seems people who have reported the SV save bug are starting to get contacted by Nintendo and their saves are being restored through a process of uploading and them fixing it. Japan only so far.

This bug is still incredibly rare and we've been unable to replicate it

Won't affect story trainers but does affect the generic ones in the field, like the Ogre Clan.
