REGARDING SPRITE ISSUES:

NOTE: If you are offline and cannot play the game online, you can either download the newest spritepack from #spritepack-releases (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID) or use the alt download (mentioned at the bottom of this message)

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

Do this first: navigate to the help man in the Pokecenter and go to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not downloading, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
Step 4. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses and navigate to Sprite Settings and select "Reset sprite cache" & "Reset displayed alt sprites".
Step 5. If that did not fix it, delete any game or launcher folders and do a full reinstall.
Step 6. After reinstalling, repeat step 4.

If for some reason none of this works, type ?tag altdownload in #ask-a-bot and reinstall using those files (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID)

best spot is celadon, check left (always use radar) side by where snorlax is sleeping, then use the sleeping bag to change the time and check again until you've seen all the mon in that grass, then go to the sewer in celdaon and check there, then go right of celdaon, chekc there and use sleeping bag to same effect, then go back to celedon if hes not there and reshuffle again, then rinse and repeat

I like that route for finding mon because you can check several different areas in less than a minute or two

just make sure your randomizer is on area and not global, global will slow you down immensley

I usually run a mon that can learn thief for a good portion of the game so alot of those items I have naturally by the time they are needed, but if it is the ditto one then yes you will need to do the same thing. I usually enounter a ton of dittos throughout my games so its never been a huge issue

You can use moves like compoundeyes to increase chances of a held item. You can faint the compoundeyes pokemon as well, place it at the front of your party and also get one that has Frisk as your battle mon

Hey @zenith oxide! Are you looking for Cut? The Cut HM is given to you by the captain of the S.S Anne! You can get an S.S Anne ticket from Bill at the end of Cerulean Cape, which is north of Cerulean. You'll then find the key to the Captain's cabin on the deck of the S.S Anne.

If you want to know where the replacement item is, ask "Where to find the Shears"

When you're randomizing the game it will give you all those options. The BST it asks you to pick lets you choose the range

So if you pick 50 BST then encounters will be up to 50 BST different from the pokemon they're replacing (whether better or worse)

If you put it to like. 300-500 you'll see legends more often

Hey @inland aspen! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

For next time

1. Save before encountering any static encounter so if U mess up you can close Ur game without saving and try again
2. Stock up on a couple quick balls and lots of ultra balls and timer balls
3. Have a sleep move you can use to put the legend to sleep as sleep doubles the chance of catching something
   And for future reference Don't use your master ball on a static legendary it's best to save it for a shiny that may faint itself (recoil moves or explosion ECT) and also roaming legendaries as they are annoying to catch

So first turn you always throw a quick ball as it's 5x catch rate only on the first turn of battle then you weaken it and try some ultra balls but once 10 turns pass stop using ultra balls and start using timer balls as they get better at Catching stuff the longer the battle has lasted and 10+ turns is when it's best

And always keep it asleep

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

Hey @graceful kiln! Looking for the Pokéradar? You can obtain it from Professor Oak's Assistant on Route 24, but she only appears after you meet her in the Cerulean Pokécenter.

When you use the Pokéradar, a repel automatically activates and grass will shake. This indicates which tile the Pokémon is in. If you are having issues with the encounters fleeing or need more info, use the Wiki Page: Wiki LINK

1. Revert your main save to a backup autosave the game creates for you. For info, type ?tag backups in #ask-a-bot
2. You can beat the Elite 4 again to get it to respawn for another shot.
