Hi, I'm curious if there is a setting that allows for more EXP gain on wild encounters. I have the magic boots now that I've beaten the game, but I don't see any such setting.
I didn't like rebattling the trainers over and over to gain higher EXP. It would be neat if there was a way to raise the gains from wild battles.

I was wondering about work around if the pokemon can ever hold two items at once. Then I could have it hold a lucky egg.
Or have it become a traded pokemon and it could gain exp faster. But I don't know if there's a way to make that happen in this game.

Ok so I dug around a bit through the Debug menus with the magic boots. I figured it out.

To make your pokemon "Traded", you need to do the following:

1. Use the magic boots
2. Open the main menu and select pokemon.
3. Choose a pokemon and select debug.
4. Choose cosmetic info.
5. Ownership...
6. Select random forgein ID

I tested this out with a spawned battle before and after changing the ownership ID from mine to a random number.
My pokemon gained 6 Exp from the first battle, then 9 from the second after changing the ownership ID.

This may seem arbitrary to some, but it allows me to gain that extra bit and speed up the grind faster while playing the game normally.

Can someone do a like basic explanation of the global and area randomization options because im not quite sure i understand them?

I think id prefer to see a wider variety of pokemon early on while still keeping the like power levels the same so it feels like im still starting a new adventure. Like, I wanna see more than just a ton of diglets right off the bat, but I don't want to see like 2nd stage evolutions super early lol

global means if a pokemon is replaced in one spot that will be replaced everywhere, for example if you would normally encounter a sunkern, and the randomizer makes you encounter a bidoof instead, every sunkern encounter will be a bidoof, while area is each route has a randomized set of 'mons that wont be the same encounters across routes

global is basically just like how normal encounters work, it just randomizes what those encounters are, while area is just completely random

So global would lead to that more classic Pokémon adventure feel while not being the boring old starting rattata, pidgey, zubat, kinda beginning. While area would end up leading to me seeing a greater variety of pokemon throughout the adventure potentially, but also could end up with some like really all over the place wild battles

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

The best way to farm exp is through trainer rematches. You can talk to a trainer again and get the option to rebattle them. The more you battle them, the higher the level they become and their Pokémon can evolve as well.

Number of Rematches:

If it's attack is lesser than its defense, it'll evolve into Hitmonchan. If both are equal, it'll evolve into Hitmontop. You may want to fuse Tyrogue with a Pokémon that has a high attack or defense stat to make it evolve into the Hitmon you want!

If you're wanting to unfuse a Pokémon you got from a trade: Pokémon with a different OT than yours cannot be unfused! However, you can make it forget its OT in the school in Violet City (post game) for ₱50 000. You're free to unfuse it after that!

Wonder Trade is a feature that allows the player to trade any Pokémon for another random Pokémon from an NPC, not online. You trade in a Pokemon and depending on its BST (Base Stat Total), you will get one within the same range, including Legendaries. For more info, use the Wonder Trade Wiki

How to transfer Hidden Ability from one Pokémon to another

This can ONLY be done with Pokémon caught naturally with their hidden ability, not with a hidden ability ball. Easiest method would be going to Secret Forest which is always a Hidden Ability area, as it doesn't matter which Pokémon you get with a hidden ability. It only matters that it naturally had that HA.

NOTE: Fusions encountered in the wild with a HA will lose that ability when they are unfused. Because of this, wild fusions will not work this.

Take mon with HA and fuse it with the mon you want a HA on, and make sure the mon that currently has the HA is the body

Choose the HA, then use a reverser to reverse the fusion, then unfuse the fusion. The other pokemon should now have its HA!

NOTE: Sometimes stats will be temporarily messed up, but will fix upon leveling or fusing

On the new HA mon, you'll actually get access to the move relearner moves of the moves the other pokemon knew when it was captured in addition to the regular moves it can relearn.
