Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

You can change the settings in game to be hold or toggle, see the image below!

• When set to Hold, the speed multiplier can be set up to x10

A NPC will give you some heat-protection cream in exchange for a Fire Gem, which you can find in the Cinnabar Pokemart. This will allow you to explore deeper in the cave. Next, you will need to find a ruby. To find it go right, left, right. When taking the ladders. Once you have the ruby, go back up the ladders till you are back to the beginning. Then to get to groudon, take the ladders in this order: left, right, left. When at the bottom, walk up to the lava pool and interact with it. This will start the groudon encounter. After the encounter, a portal will be open that takes you back to the top of Mt. Ember.||

Hey @gleaming mortar! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

If you defeat, run away, or get defeated by a Legendary Pokemon, you have two options:

1. Revert your main save to a backup autosave the game creates for you. For info, type ?tag backups in #ask-a-bot
2. You can beat the Elite 4 again to get it to respawn for another shot.
