Not sure where "atherian city" is supposed to be, you were asking about how to quickly head to pallet town (the starting village) to get the map if I remember correctly, and saffron is east of celadon for the next part of the main story (and next gym after that).

If you want the ditto for breeding, then yes, but make sure that the ditto is the body and that you use super splicers when fusing (it doesn't matter much for unfusing, normal splicers are fine for that).

Yes, but you can just fuse with gardevoir as the body directly as well (and always use super splicers when fusing when IVs are involved at all)

When you are in an area where they can currently spawn, you can get more than 1 but not all spawns will have a hidden ability, it's still random.
Your best bet is to be sure you are in the area that currently has hidden abilities, either through the old lady in fuchsia or through the dream mirror.

But either way, pokemons that evolve with level will try to evolve again after each fight where they levelled up, so once it gets level 16 it should evolve.

hello, i am doing the "a legendary band" quest and cannot for the life of me get whatever is supposed to be here to spawn. is it bugged? when i talk to the lumberjack with the scyther, he says "there's that strange music again", but every time i walk over there is literally nothing there. i have reset the game multiple times now and there is still nothing here. i have refreshed loading zones in the same period. i have even used the sleeping bag to sleep for 1 hr individually for 2 weeks to try to figure out what time they spawn at and there's still nothing here lol

Well pinkan island is listed in both ongoing and finished in my journal, which brings the numbers down to match what the scientist is saying, 54 completed, one ongoing. So if it is first contact, it isn't being counted by him as completed

Hey @sacred socket! Are you looking for Rock Smash? The Rock Smash TM is given to you after you beat Brock. To get it, go into Mt. Moon. There, you'll overhear Team Rocket members talking. Head back out and talk to Brock, he will give Rock Smash!

If you want to know where the replacement item is, ask "Where to find the Pickaxe"

Also, for future reference, the game expects you to talk to everyone and read what they say.
It might sound like I am saying something obvious but the game doesn't really record everything and reminds you of all of it with icons and text everywhere like how most recent games do things.
There are plenty of things to find just about everywhere but you can just as easily get stuck for a bit if you don't pay attention.
