if you do that, it isn't getting steam input. so anything you changed in steam is being ignored.

you have to open the game through steam also. Also with your controller, if you click edit, make sure to enable steam input if it isn't already

Oh I know, I launched the game manually because I couldn't get the program to recognize it either with keyboard or gamepad binds when launching via Steam with custom controller configs. Like I said, Windows seems to get some/most (if not all) of it right; I'd rather the D-Pad and the L joystick work properly than have it muss with my volume settings

Pretty sure those are random, amigo. But the Hidden ability thing is kinda weird, because some hidden abilities are active. Lets say you find a blaziken in the wild and your quickball fails, once the turn is over, you will then know if Blaziken has its hidden ability Speed Booster.

Now, this applies to only (to my knowledge) those that have a direct effect that changes things.

Like, you will see if pressure or mold breaker is active, but others that require specific types of move, you just gotta pray

How to transfer Hidden Ability from one Pokémon to another

So this can ONLY be done with Pokémon caught naturally with their hidden ability, not with a hidden ability ball. Easiest method would be going to Secret Forest which is always a Hidden Ability area, as it doesn't matter which Pokémon you get with a hidden ability. It only matters that it naturally had that HA.

Take mon with HA and fuse it with the mon you want a HA on, and make sure the mon that currently has the HA is the body

Choose the HA, then use a reverser to reverse the fusion, then unfuse the fusion. The other pokemon should now have its HA!

NOTE: Sometimes stats will be temporarily messed up, but will fix upon leveling or fusing

On the new HA mon, you'll actually get access to the move relearner moves of the moves the other pokemon knew when it was captured in addition to the regular moves it can relearn

They keep what items Thier holding but nothing else so put a bunch of items on your pokemon in your box that you want to keep. Also fusions will become "trade" fusions where you can't unfuse them anymore so if you want to separate a pokemon from another do it before going into ng+ or else you cant unfuse them and Thier stuck together. @slow solstice

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. There is a folder named backups. Open it.
4. If your save slot was A, go to the File A folder
5. Rename whichever save file you want to revert back to "File A.rxdata"
6. Copy the save and replace your corrupted/old save with this new one you renamed

there are some changes the Dev made to certain things because it might be a bit over-powered [ex: Charmeleon doesn't learn DRage at level 17 but instead learns Fire Fang]

as to your specific question, Lucario only learns it via egg moves in US/UM

we do have an egg move tutor in the battle tower, but no idea if that particular move is listed there
