I’d like to give my unpopular opinion about the game.
I like the new mechanics and everything they’re adding to the game, the new mounts, the new armor system, the new energy mechanisms, everything is great.
But the game is becoming very technical, and it’s moving further and further away from the survival aspect, it seems to me that the enemy aspect of the game is falling behind; hostile mobs are too easy to defeat, and there’s very little variety in them and their attacks.
We also need bigger and some flying enemies, and the horrible random aiming system should be improved, so that instead of being random, maybe the speed and direction of the wind could influence the trajectory of the projectile...
Something that could help give the game a new twist would be splitting damage into body parts; A direct arrow to the head could be deadly, or being bitten in the arms would make you too weak to wield weapons or tools.
Falling from very high up could break your legs and you might lose mobility for a while, maybe 50%, and only recover it after dying, or spend a day or two in bed...
We could also have illnesses; eating spoiled food could make you have tremors and dizziness, forcing you to use remedies and tea made from plants and herbs, it wouldn't kill you, but you'd have some debuffs, like making it take longer for you to mine ores and stones.
It sounds really extreme, but it could even be a new game mode, like hardcore, but only for experts who really want a challenge and to be scared of the dark again.
Anyway, I just wanted to give my opinion and ask if there are plans to go back to eldritch horror.
