You can put items in forges via chute, but it doesn't work properly

Whenever you try chuting in fuel or anything else it gets placed like it's being heated (even if it cant). Attempting to add something other than the original item placed in deletes it, which could make for a nice trashcan.

When ever you place items in that can be heated, you can put in a whole stack of that item before it starts deleting it's self (same for any other item). After it's all in the forge, if you fuel it by hand and start it you can heat up an entire stack of bloom or ingots for only one or two pieces of fuel and it goes really fast.

Afterwards the forge becomes a bit too buggy to work properly, so you have to break it. You can pull out individual items mid heating, but cannot put it back in.

I am on 1.22.2 stable and tested this in creative, I have not had the chance to test it in survival.

I just tried something similar for science and giggles, a full 16x stack of ingots gets put in the forge via hopper + chute, any additional ingots pile up in the hopper for me with one in the chute, I also added coal the same way and not only did it feed it ALL to the forge at once (far beyond the 5x coal limit), it also visually raised the smouldering coal pile + ingots up out of the forge, floating mid air now. I can heat all ingots at once, a bellows raises it like normally so even though they instantly start cooling down after being taken out it gives enough time to feed into a high-speed helve hammer setup to basically factory-produce plates if desired

thing moves so fast the sound and the voxel animations can't keep up

and hammers all ingots into plates just as fast for a quick full plate armor
sadly not very useful in creative, time to build the setup in survvial, only takes a few thousand linen

I just discovered this thinking that there is no way i was the only one. sure enough you discovered it 3 months before me. It doesnt delete items it just doesnt update the graphics until you interact with it
