being able to make a bottle/wine bottle (perhaps through chiselling or crafting a glass block with a chisel or woodenslab/etc) and having it hold maybe 3-5 litres. you could use use wax or animal fat to seal it so it lasts longer.
wine and mead is common to sell through farmers markets (along with other artisan goods) so possibly the addition fo that to what the artisan trader sells/buys?
#Bottling + selling juice/wine/liqour?

A related idea. Let players use wax and/or paper to name a bottle of alcohol. So, Black Currant Wine becomes Ian Smith Reserve or what have you. No changes to the effect, and the type of alcohol would be listed in the description. Just fun for SP customization and MP trading.
I love and support all 3 of these ideas, dunno how glass blowing would work probably something like a timer... its kind of hard to imagine how to gamify a craft so hard and complex that involves a lot of different tools.
probably as something like making a clay mold of the bottle and having different molds that could be made, then you blow on it but its something like a timer like you tap how much you want to blow hair and need to keep it like that for some time until it cools enough, then add a gauge so its like if you do it right you get a high quality bottle but if you do it meh you get like a choddy one... and if you do terribly then its just glass waste that you can recycle.
similar processes would apply to making other things like window panes and glass blocks, instead of the crafting we have right now that is instant...
on that very same note, glass making could lead to making a lot of other things like eventually in probably a couple years we could see some more science stuff and lab work, so we could use the same tech to make lab equipment, from sterile glass slabs, petri dishes and mixing bottles.
other cool things could be glass sculpting, like having to re heat your sculpture to work on it, although we already can do it with chiseling is not that satisfactory because of how transparency works in 3d x_x
I like the mini game, especially if it's like: you can ignore the game for ok quality/chance of success, and then minigame for a small bonus (and dopamine). Let's players play however is fun for them, and minigame can be fun without being a grind.
Could just make it not transparent while chiseling.
yeah its hard to display also. cause you know 3d and transparency is ass... BUT! could work with maybe opaque glass sculptures! or having to do a special shader just for glass. something something semi transparent... with some ambient occlusion so we have more contrast and can distinguish the shape and details better.
yeah thats what I was thinking something that makes it not boring to make, cause ive been making copper shutes... and it got repetitive as fuuuck real fast. so I was thinking there should be an alternative crafting for those using copper plates, a soldering iron and lead solder... 💀
like fine charge me more for been lazy in this particular area but dont make me shape by hand 25% of a pipe when I need 10 pipes...
I cant imagine having to build a more complex system that uses like 100.
