I've been practicing intentionally taking stomps if I corner myself, and its great

as long as I'm over 68 hp, its a guaranteed solve

while taking intentional floor damage stacks up

Also more times than not he attacked me with a projectile, so I have 4 ticks to run under him, so no stomp damage

i also used them for abyssal demons and nechryals to get big prayer xp

these are relevant for many content, which is great, but they are very easy to get

bowfa isn't a skip because it's a huge grind to do

it's adequately powerful for how difficult it is to obtain

and tormented demons are incredible xp as well, on my grind to get them I got over 2m slayer xp

It's the same concept though. Like if you move every tick you don't take damage, I wasn't talking about woox walk, that's just how you avoid damage. Once you perfect that one, the woox walk is pretty easy to learn.

Here's some advice if you have high ping, click to change direction before you reach the tile you clicked on. Plugins can help here

I have a question about runescape / game development unrelated to Runelite (im an embedded software eng, know nothing about game dev)

If a game tick is 0.6 seconds, how can stuff be moving continuously (Without looking stuttered every 0.6 seconds)

examples:

• the fire cape is graphic is constantly flowing
• players moving/running
• bosses moving/attacking/projectiles etc

is it just the server predicting what happens, or am I thinking about this wrong? Rendering graphics vs game state changing in different threads?

someone can correct me if this analogy is wrong but the way i think about it is that you can think about it like a queue. every action gets put into a queue, and the game only processes the next action every 0.6 seconds.

you can change your action before the 0.6 timer is up, but once it hits that 0.6 interval thats always going the game executes the action that you last inputted, whether thats move, attack, etc.

some actions can stack on the same tick, like attacking and changing prayer

Fundamentally, there's a difference between a 'game tick' and a 'client tick'

Client ticks are used for rendering stuff, which is why the game doesn't run at 1.666 fps 😄

I'm pretty sure that doesn't go up even if you're actually rendering faster than 50 FPS (with a GPU plugin for example)

I found out if I want to get all Graceful outfits, I need ~2400 marks of grace and that'd be ~120 hours of full efficiency at the ardy course 🙃 🔫 probably better to not bother and go back to clogging Sepulchre
