I've got two external monitors (Same model, 1080p) - The game render and the game UI are pixelated (text shimmers when I drag the window pixel to pixel). The Runelite UI does not have the issue. My Mac put one monitor into YCbCr 4:2:2 Limited Range (the problematic one) and the other into RGB Full Range. Somehow was able to get it into RGB full range with the BetterDisplay app

Question about "shortest path" plugin. It's telling me to use my cape rack and use the mythical cape. There's no option to teleport from the rack without taking the cape and then going back to the rack and putting the cape back in? i'd like to just disable the rack but it seems like all the mounted items are linked in the same option.

you can mount it to the wall rather than putting on a rack and the one on the wall can teleport

Been a while since I used a mac, but if this happens on windows it's generally an indicator that the cable is either failing, or not fully connect or some other fault with the physical connection between pc and monitor. It should always try to use the full RGB range but might downgrade to limited if it decides it doesn't have enough bandwith available. Something to look out for if it happens to you more often

hello, when i played on my account when building through intellij, it seemed as though the dps counter plugin wouldn't pick up my other account's party damage as it usually would.

is there logic for this or am i missing something? i know external plugins aren't built into these builds of the clients, but seemed like they couldn't communicate across the party ?

We don't provide builds of pluginhub plugins for snapshot versions. Usually you can pass -Drunelite.pluginhub.version=<current RL version> as a VM option to load the plugins built against the release into your build, which will work if there are no ABI changes. If there are ABI changes, build the plugins yourself and place them into the sideloaded-plugins directory when running in developer mode.

if a person doesn't have the party hub plugin installed but joins a party, you can still see their def reduction specs but you won't see their inventory for the same reason

what ever plugin you're working on maybe is meant to be a hub plugin(unless its core) which when you build that, would have the hub on it regardless

I have a question myself: does anyone know why my Runelite profiles aren't saving? When i swap from one profile to another it has been not saving any of the changes to my previous profile. I have cloud synch enabled. I have also tried exporting the profile in an attempt to save it, but when i close runelite or change profiles that profile information is being forgotten (such as client size, plugins, new bank tabs ect)

Hey guys, recently when i use runelite for a while my monitor goes black for like 5 seconds ( i can still hear audio) and when screen comes back runelite has crashed but nothing else.

In eventviewer i get multiple different errors :

If it tries to open RuneLite it should create a filed named ssl-debug.log on your desktop you can drag here that might show what the problem is.

Does anyone have this issue when scrolling down the plugins? It also causes delayed clicks in game. The only fix I've found is a clean reinstallation of the current nvidia drivers, but the problem returns upon pc restart. I've tried uninstalling all hub plugins also, but that didn't help.

When swapping to a new pc I got, I used Google drive to copy my current runelite, it didn't work. Will explain why as well as some trouble shooting.

When I downloaded jagex launcher and installed runelite I made sure to empty that and fill it with the runelite from my old computer. (It was split up into multiple zip files because of 2gb limit). I loaded up and profiles were there but switching to them did nothing, checked the files, they were txt files and not properties files. Removed the txt from a few to test still did nothing. Also all of the settings were txt, but they were from like Feb 2023 if opened and had none of my current settings. So I'm lost as to where all of this vital stuff is let alone how to get it to work. If anyone could nudge me in the right direction please it would be greatly appreciated. As starting from scratch on the new pc is an even bigger headache than the current situation. 😅

Usually you can pass -Drunelite.pluginhub.version=<current RL version> as a VM option to load the plugins built against the release into your build, which will work if there are no ABI changes. If there are ABI changes, build the plugins yourself and place them into the sideloaded-plugins directory when running in developer mode.

2. You can add a right click wiki look up to an item or object, or make it a hotkey

if you check the logs it should indicated that ur on GENERIC DRIVER 1.1 or some shit

Hey everyone ~ I am going insane over some issue I can't seem to fully fix. Ever since I returned to OSRS, I feel the game got more blurry (see first Screenshot). I was able to fix it with manually overriding the DPI settings in Windows and that help make it look crisp again (I am playing on 4K). However after the DPI fix, now the Runelight Text looks incredibly weird (see second Screenshot). Did anyone encounter this issue before?

Okay, I have a weird situation with loot tracker. I ensured loot tracking was enabled in the official client. At motherload mine, on the official client, the tracker works.

On runelite, nothing shows up at all. I don't have any ignored items. I only have one runelite account and there are no duplicates

Looks like an internet problem. If you load RuneLite over mobile you might be able to connect back to your regular internet and login.

Mine is running with only 12fps

Yes, I said "older" laptop. However, it is only using 12.5% CPU.

Ive got 117hd and gpu plugin disabled and ive enabled 'low detail' and zoomed all the way in.

Any things i might be missing?
How do I permit the process to use more cpu?

osrs is a mostly single core game so that 12.5% could be 100% on a single core/thread

It could be just that old or you should try other drivers

OSRS, I just realised that on Mobile I can see Slayer Panel showing me current task, Number of Kills left, etc. and I don't see that on RuneLite Slayer Plugin (I do see a small tiny icon with a number showing kills left) but not the panel itself, is there a way to show the panel/overlay? :S

runelite does the infobox for that information at a glance and you can hover over it to see more details

you can't exactly hover over in mobile so you gotta show the more information all in a box rather than a small symbol + number with more info hidden but available

ah that makes perfect sense. i guess final question would be is there a way to increase the size of the icons for the infobox? I got high resolution (5k2k) so it is a little tiny for me

Hey when I try to type a back quote ( ` ) key, it wont come let me type it. If I hold shift and press it, it does let me type a tilda key ( ~ ). Im trying to use the Shift remapping plugin to turn my back quote key into my shift key but when I do it doesnt work. My guess is that its not working because when I normally type it wont let me type a back quote anyway. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

If one of your keys isn't working in game, you've most likely bound it to a feature of a plugin. The Debug Helper hub plugin can show what keys are bound to what plugins.

To find the logs, you can do one of the following:

• If your client failed to open, click the Open logs folder button.
• Open the screenshot directory by right-clicking 📷 Camera button, navigate 1 directory up, then open logs folder.
• Navigate to %userprofile%\.runelite\logs on Windows or $HOME/.runelite/logs on Linux and macOS.

Upload the log files named client and launcher by dragging them to Discord. If there are files prefixed with jvm_crash dated from today, upload them too.

intel 13&14 gen cpus are pretty unstable and crash pretty commonly, we can't do much about it

Your CPU is getting damaged over time and will be getting worse unless you update to the latest microcode

Hey is there any documentation on how to install a specific branch/fork of a plugin? Is that even allowed? ABC Alch plugin has some broken features since minigame teleport spell was added, there is a PR to fix the issue but it has not been approved and wanted to try it out for myself but I'm not super familiar with the runelite development side of things

since you can sideload custom plugins into it

and then do a build of the branch of the plugin you want
