I had custom menu swaps toggled as one of the few plugins back from when 3t dawn speccing was a thing with the instant inventory plugin so everytime I changed profile and went back it would change it to what the other profiles had

Howdy, I've been getting tons of crashes after the game update and I have tried figuring it out but I am pretty lost, the crashes seem to be pretty random. I have crashed almost every time I loot arraxor, I crashed on casting NPC contact, I have also crashed randomly mid SOTE in tob. But i've also been able to do those things without issues. logs show this:

I have been playing RuneScape using RuneLite on both my Mac and my PC. However, I haven’t used RuneLite on my PC for a long time.

When I recently logged in on my PC, I noticed that none of my RuneLite plugins are there anymore, and I also can’t see the Cloud Sync button. Everything still works correctly on my Mac.

Could you please let me know why this might be happening and what I can do to restore my plugins and Cloud Sync on my PC?

Upload the log files named client and launcher by dragging them to Discord. If there are files prefixed with jvm_crash dated from today, upload them too.

Hey all, I've been trying to find a way to tag different NPCs that use the same ID with different colours based on their index #
Looking at moonlight antelope:
Their npc id is 13132, thats fine.
I want to tag a few of them using different colours based on where they respawn.
Using npc id's, I can see they have different index numbers which can be used to identify unique antelopes.
Is there a tag/command for better npc hightlight or npc indicators that I can use to tag different ones?
Eg. 13132#24211, 13132#24218 etc

I recently switched to a Linux (Pop!_OS 22.04) on a new PC build and have been experiencing 2 main issues with Runelite via the Bolt Launcher

  • I've had noticeably worse tick stability. On my laptop and old pc, I had an average of 90% stable ticks on US East servers while my new PC is only around 50%
  • Audio is muddy, as if put through a low-pass filter. This doesn't seem to be an OS-level issue since other apps like Firefox sound fine.
    Advice would be appreciated. I can provide hardware specs if they would help.

heyyyllo my fellow osrs brothrens and sistrens. life long player, been using runelite since nam. kinda got an issue with couple plugins, mainly customizable xp drops. for some reason it doesn't show my xp drops anymore, although plugin is on, ive tinkered with all the settings, deleted, installed, etc. i only get the 2-3-4 small skill orbs up top from plugin and thats it. however, this is on my iron im having that issue.. when im on my main, its back to normal, and satisfies my ocd and the need to want to see every xp drop. lol can anyone help me out on how to reset it, or maybe what other plugin i have on that is interferring? but that can't be it since it works on the main duh so i dont know. TY!!

Hover your mouse over the top right of the game and look for the > to open the sidebar, then you can go into the "RuneLite" plugin and turn on Enable Custom Chrome, then restart the client, that should put the title bar back to grey.

Hi, I recently got a 4K monitor and am trying to get RuneLite scaled correctly. It looks perfect when I set my display scaling in Windows to 100% and use the stretched mode with integer scaling at 100%.

However, I obviously cannot leave my Windows display scale at 100% because I won't be able to use my PC for anything else. Other apps are comfortable at 150%. But at 150% I would be forced to use non-integer scaling in RuneLite and everything gets blurry.

Is there a way to override the Windows display scale for RuneLite specifically, so that I can use it at 100% with integer scaling?

I found this: https://github.com/runelite/runelite/wiki/RuneLite-Launcher-Configuration#Scale

Which states the "Scale" JVM argument should do this:

"For use overriding scaling performed by your Operating System."

However, setting --scale=1.0 does not appear to override my Windows 150% display scale at all.

I also tried 0.67 in an attempt to counteract the 150% Windows scaling, as it did not seem to "override" anything with the 1.0 scale. That also did nothing. Then tried 0.7 because it states the format is #.#, but that also did nothing.

Can anyone explain how I can use this scale JVM argument?

Or other suggestions to apply a different scaling to RuneLite from the Windows setting?

hey, im having an issue with my plug ins.

I logged off last night and they were all working fine. I've logged back on this morning and none of my plug ins are installed anymore and my PC hasnt been switched off or anything since i last logged off. I've tried importing new profiles through the .runelite/profiles but the only thing that comes back is my loot tracker.

Any ideas?

Hey, I'm newbie to all this.
I'm attempting to find a way to highlight an NPC in Keldagrim if they're the "active" NPC that is assigning a "Keldagrim Task"
(Ref: https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Keldagrim_tasks)
1 of 7 NPCs will be assigning a task, once failed/completed it is randomised to another.

Unsure if I'm just scratching the surface or it's not possible, but I'm not see any changes using Var Inspector.
Are there other ways to attempt to find a state change for this?

I'm having issues with the side panel UI not loading for one particular plugin. When I hover my mouse over it various elements will appear but I can't get the entire thing to load correctly. I also noticed a similar thing where resizing my client window will cause the client/side bar to glitch out. If I move it enough times it usually fixes itself. I never had these issues on mac, even on much less powerful hardware.

I have a friend who's text appears above his character. It's sorta annoying to read shortest path when I pick up a clue and have to step off my tile to read it.

Not easily. The overlays are drawn to the same buffer that the game UI is drawn to. It could be possible to split them apart for some of the overlays, but it is not anything I've looked at.

I'm desperate for a solution here, my runelite will entirely freeze when I'm tabbed into another game (ffxiv). As soon as I click anywhere outside of that game, runelite is back to normal.

I tried giving a high priority to runelite in the task manager but that didnt change anything.

Between my laptop and my desktop my Runelite settings are not syncing, like even the profiles are different. I tried deleting all but the one profile I want to use. To test it on my desktop I changed the Profile name to #1. Closed Runelite. Opened runelite on Laptop and the profile was not changed.

I just deleted the runelite folder on laptop, and moved over my PC runelite folder. It seems fixed. The profile name didn't change, but I tried toggling a plugin, and that persists moving between laptop and PC. So the profile name must just not be stored the same way?

But all settings and changes seem to persist.

Linux issue while trying to use Bolt:

I have a Jagex account so I can't just install RuneLite and login with an older account type, so I need to use the "Jagex Launcher" - in this case Bolt, since there isn't an official Jagex Launcher on Linux.

I have launched into RuneLite successfully, but the RuneLite UI (NOT the OSRS UI, that is fine) is absolutely tiny. Like font point 6 tiny at best.

Everything online just says to add "--configure" to the terminal when launching RuneLite, but here's the thing - I'm not launching via the terminal, since I have to go through Bolt because I have a Jagex account. I tried to add --configure to the "RuneLite commands" section of the settings in Bolt, but it just makes RuneLite fail to launch and doesn't open configuration. Anyone have any advice on how I can increase the scale of the RuneLite UI while using Bolt?

Hi, I'm trying to figure out why Discord's "Legacy" overlay gets stuck on "currently initializing..." The regular game overlay works but I want to use the legacy version since it is capturable for recording/streaming purposes through OBS. This problem started happening a while ago (maybe like several months) and I never really got around to fixing it. It just started having the issue one day without me doing anything, to my knowledge. Is there a fix?
The legacy overlay works in other games so it doesn't seem to be a Discord issue.

I play on a 4K 32" monitor, so I've got Windows Scaling set to 150% (otherwise I can't see or read a damn thing). But this adds a strange blur to everything when you're zoomed out.

I can fix it by setting the Windows Scaling to 100% and then using Stretched Mode, but this does mean I have to switch scaling around each time I launch Runelite.

Is there another way to fix this?

Using Linux - Fedora KDE with Bolt (Flatpak Jagex Launcher).

I am running runelite 1.12.10 with launcher 2.7.6.

I am running into issues with what I believe has to do with the GPU plugin, because HD 117 has the same behaviour.

While I'm playing, I'm getting what I'd say are occasional freezes, where the game itself (not the launcher or runelite itself) is freezing. I can still do inputs, however there's a few seconds delay before the game starts acting again.

There is no pingspike happening, that is consistently between 13 and 14 ping while using the Ping plugin.

I used to have the same issue on Windows as well, but then it was related to hardware acceleration. Considering I want to use my GPU to play the game, it's kind of a problem.

you could try turning off core performance boost in your bios and see if it stops crashing, this log matches what we've seen for other damaged intel cpus
