Yeah im monitoring if there are plugin issues and removing them

But like I said your issue is that you're running out of heap space which is a result of the number of hub plugins you have installed.
Can't really help you beyond that especially if you aren't willing to actually send your full logs

they shouldn't load/do anything unless actually enabled but some plugins have static methods that load the moment the class loads so regardless of being on or not

@dense crypt i dont really provide support in dms, you need to provide more info, you said your issue(s) are with the xp tracker plugin not resetting, it would mean look at the config for that plugin between the profiles

if that's not the issue then you may need to explain the behavior you're seing better

Sometimes the over all xp at the top of the xp tracker side panel is missing, what could cause that?
Is this because these are saved stats from a previous session and it only starts to draw the side panel when you get an xp drop on a load?

Plugging it in should enable high performance power plan (or whatever its called), but could verify the power plan too.
if gpu on/off makes no difference i imagine it's because they're off the wall and some laptops behave that way regardless of power options (they want people to have battery life last longer than 30 minutes)

Hello guys, i just tried my first plugin, the ''177 HD''. I didn't like it, but after i removed it the game looked shit and was very laggy. I tried remove the game and re-install it but it's still the same problem. How to i totaly reset the whole Runelite?
turn on gpu plugin, turning on 117 hd turns off GPU and turning off 117 hd doesn't turn it back on automatically.

I'm having an odd issue. I generally play with 3 runelite clients open. All use the same plugins. But one character will randomly start to crash. The game window will completely freeze, but I can still operate runelite itself. Once I click X to close, it then goes not responding and I have to force close it.
Now this is usually 1 specific character, but can happen between two of them. However, once it picks an account, it will stick with that account for a long period of time, usually until I reset my pc. I've tried deleting cache, new/old GPU drivers, etc. This is a new problem, started happening about a week ago, nothing hardware/software wise has changed. Open to any ideas and can provide additional detail if needed. Crash report doesn't show much to my eyes, but could be wrong.

if you use the debug helper plugin to get a thread dump from the frozen character we can maybe tell you what plugin is causing it
Roger, installing plugin now. Had two crashes on it just a few minutes ago, but it could go up to a couple hours before it happens again. Will report back as soon as it does.

ive imported my profiles from my mac but none of them seem to actually change any plugins or plugin settings - do i need to do something else to "activate" them?

if you click the import profile button it pops up with a file nav, you can change the view to show file sizes
that helps a bit narrow down the more correct one to use

I'm getting a lot of malformed login packet errors lately, happens mostly on uk & us worlds. specifically when i'm afking forestry or shooting stars on relatively crowded worlds. are there just general server problems or could this be something runelite related? my internet seems to be stable since everything else just works fine but i'm also not familiar with these kind of issues. Might have to add that sometimes the "connection lost" message appears in the top left and the client just freezes and i need to restart it.

hi, how come i can't login directly into runelite without having to boot jagex launcher? every time i try to use the runelite to login my account it keeps saying:

the point of stuff auto equipping from a gravestone is because you're usually right next to what you were fighting so you can grab it and get back into the action

my runelite keeps crashing when i try to stick the gpu plugin on im on a arm 64 windows laptop and just trying to increase the draw distance a little. my x64 laptop does it just fine just that laptops crap and really slow so im resorting to my arm 64 laptop is there any way i can increase that draw distance a little?
also the x64 laptop barely runs osrs at all it struggled to get 10fps which is why i use the arm64 one

ah alright. did the admin thing.
the client.log and launcher.log are meant to be new for the day you are on, your files have dates from aug 22 and sept 3 despite being named client and launcher so you have permission issues for writing to a new file, which is what this run as admin should fix
thats odd, windows said it was good. but i did do the admin thing
example of what a "good" logs folder looks like, each day the log file is renamed to being yesterdays date
and then it starts new
anyways admin should correct the logs which maybe makes them more useful
some are today, but others are pretty old
well, ill run the account until the next crash. its very random. it can be right after i click something, or while im semi afk cooking, its just random. just locks up, usually can use side bar for a bit, but will eventually go not responding and force close.

its best to have a thread dump durring the freeze so we can see what is freezeing the thread
its so odd. no hardware/software changes, and it only affects one of 3 accounts at a time, usually picking which it wants to kill after a pc restart. been going for a bit over a week, maybe closer to two. im pretty much at the point of reinstalling windows lol. only really affects me when pvming on the iron.

Does anyone know why my Bank Tags plugin wouldn't be working? I can't create, delete, or even modify any of the tabs I had previously created. I've tried enabling and disabling the plugin, but nothing is working. Any help is much appreciated.

Ok, so whenever I launched in safe mode, all of my plugins got deleted, but the bank tags worked, but I think that's because they come default on RL. I switched safe mode off and relaunched, and the bank tags plugin is like 25% functional. So odd. Any other fixes?
You don't even need Custom Menu Swaps for that, just menu entry swapper. Shift-right click and change left click to walk here and shift-click to attack

i occasionally get a black flash on the entire pc. this doesnt kill any programs, just flashes my screens. I rolled back to two different previous drivers, then back to the newest I hadnt installed yet, and no change. I really might just reimage windows tbh, as annoying as that is.

usually gpu driver fail would close runelite, but it doesnt. it also doesnt trigger the freeze, but with both of these happening, something is wonky. gotta love 50 series drivers

Hi all, I have a major issue on RL. All the individual settings of my plugins have been reset to default. I'm logged in on RL, double checked to see everything is in order like using the same profile (which is synced to cloud) but cannot seem to understand what is causing this. Now I have to dedicate an hour to re-do all of my plugin settings.
This is happening 3rd time since I got back on the game 3 days ago.

If you hold the Alt key and click the '-' sign until the text is greyed out the text will not appear for that specific item
but then i cant click on the item to pick it up without the right click menu

I finally switched to a jagex account and launcher a few days ago and after reinstalling runelite the audio from various plugins have stopped working, this includes base stuff like only some notifications making noise (dryad forestry event, but no others) and installed ones like c engineer. Ive tried reinstalling audio drivers to see if its on my end but no luck there, runescape music n other audio is fine its just runelite

all new accounts are Jagex accounts, you need to launch RuneLite through the Jagex launcher

Hey, I'm trying to use runelite but suddenly it has a problem with my VPN. I launch it trough the jagex client, which itself was acting up, but split tunneling fixed it. Now when I try to log into runelite I get the message "Failed to login. Please try again"

forgive me for not knowing anything about the back end of apps or computers but, is there a way to completely delete a plugin and reinstall it fresh as if its the first time? I tried to uninstall and reinstall in the hub but when i opened it up again it still remembered things it had recorded before and i am wondering if a fresh install of a plugin will help unbreak something
You can click reset on the plugin config but they may be storing data in your profile or in .runelite

Yeah RuneLite is particularly sensitive to the stability issues from this for some reason, but it is a progressive issue that gets worse with time
yeah runelite uses your cpu in a specific way i guess that causes the crashes to show up first
The update WILL NOT resolve the crashes unfortunately, it will just keep them from getting worse

My partner had a processor that got increasingly unstable thanks to the bug, I had to replace the thing - there was discolouration a lot of the pin pads on the bottom of the chip when I pulled it to do the replacement
It sucks and it's not fun to semi-regularly have to tell people that this is their problem but yeah Intel really dropped the ball in a huge way

in these cases where you have known bad intel cpu and microcode and are getting jvm crashes, slim chance im afraid..

anyone having issues where boss tasks are not showing up on the infobox or on the slayer helm? Getting a boss task from Krystilia and it didnt show up on the infobox or slayer helm. Swap task at storage and whatever i unstored (bears) showed up as number on helm and icon in infobox. Swap back to boss task (venanatis) and it stays with bears icon and count on slayer helm. Relog and infobar and count not showing, even after "check" on slayer helm. Sorry if already been reported

If one of your keys isn't working in game, you've most likely bound it to a feature of a plugin. The Debug Helper hub plugin can show what keys are bound to what plugins.

I have a 2017 iMac 21.5 inch, my runelite crashes sometimes 2-8 times a day. If I have 2 clients open 1 can crash and the other one wont. When it crashes Ill get a pop up window with a bunch of codes and shit explaining the crash and idk wtf any of it means. Can ANYONE help me figure out wtf the issue is? It happens when 117 is on or off, and when gpu is on and off.

Hi, I'm having some issues at Doom, at 8+ levels sometimes the rock debris just makes everything flicker and disappear including the missiles and rock shadows. Possibly when there is a lot of acid. Anyone know a fix?

Im really getting pretty frustrated. Everything has been working great on Runelite for months and months but recently I have been getting terrible lag. My typing will be delayed. moving the camera will continue past when I stop and keep spinning for a few seconds, dead clicks, and just general lagging issues. I have read through every post that I can find but nothing has worked thus far (Uninstalled and reinstalled, updated game drivers, moved runelite/jagex launcher to another storage drive, set Nvidia panel to prioritize runelite). I have also tried a different profile as well. The only plugin I have is Gauntlet/hunleff helper. Any ideas how I can fix this? Its ruining my entire experience at the moment. Thanks in advance.

Well safe mode disables hub plugins and the GPU plugin, it is intended as a step to diagnose the problem. So now you can try a fresh (blank) profile with no hub plugins and GPU on, and see if the problem exists* there.
am I dumb or how do you sync loot tracker for 2 devices? i have desktop and laptop both signed in with my account but separate loot trackers atm... im sorry if this is easy fix

For some reason, my computer started bootlooping while in sleep mode. Now runelite no longer has any plugins installed

No offense but I don’t trust users to know or not know what they do or don’t do because they don’t know
When a user claims their plugin folder is intact and they’re not loading stuff it means they’re using the wrong profile, you shouldn’t lose a profile but folks do some how
I think I skipped disk checking when rebooting
Which could be because of permissions or you force closed the client in the middle of it doing stuff

I put my computer to sleep, and then it started rebooting
so perhaps that's why
If you’re task manager closing the client or force shutting it down and otherwise interrupting the client while it’s writing the settings back to the disk it can be interrupted and break stuff
You should enable cloud sync to mitigate that or close the clients completely before putting pc to sleep
And disable that ba minigame plugin
All it does is spam your logs
and perhaps delete/uninstall others you think you don’t want.
seems like a file recovery software is not yet able to recover any tmp files or the profile :'-)

not sure about the recent crash but i do want to note that you're using a 14900k 0x129 which may or may not be cooking itself alive
not sure why runelite specifically gets 14900ks to blow up but intel shipped a shoddy product and the cpu fries itself
and that could be the why it crashes now
but i am not certain some one else can check

You can try doing a safe mode run to see if it helps, but if your chip is fried there's nothing that can really be done to help that

the runelite object feature in that plugin doesnt work anymore iirc
so it hides it even if you tell it to not to hide them

Accidentally used the alt + click to move my xp bar and ended up moving it OFF screen. Can't right click to get it back. Anyone know a way to get it back?
FIxed it. For anyone else if they ever have this issue, disable customizable xp drops and it'll pop back up somewhere and you can reset it.

Not sure if it's a runelite problem, but has anyone had any issues with touchpad clicks sometimes not registering? When im playing on my laptop every minute or two my touchpad stops registering clicks unless i tab out and back in or actually click down on it. I tried several times to click outside of the game in the same way and that seems to work flawlessly so im 99% sure its an issue with either osrs or runelite but i cant find anyone reporting the same problem
if you try dragging does your camera move? you might have alt or something pressed (or failing to release if you are alt tabbing or other stuff)
nah if i press alt it highlight everything with yellow boxes so i definitely would notice if that was the case. I tried tapping several times and clicking through on the touchpad seems to fix it when it happens, but it only happens in runelite (granted i havent tried the regular osrs launcher)

To find the logs, you can do one of the following:

Upload the log files named client and launcher by dragging them to Discord. If there are files prefixed with jvm_crash dated from today, upload them too.
Post the client and launcher logs with yesterday's date on them
I don't see a profile change in there after the time yesterday where someone suggested you try a fresh profile with just GPU
I did alot of uninstalling and reinstalling yesterday and today so not sure tbh.

Hey I was looking for anyone who could help me with my runelte client. I was having a bit of trouble ever since I logged in today, which is the following, every time I teleport or have a game transition/ cut screen, the game/client resizes itself. I did notice on login that I had an unfamiliar message in my inventory which was essentially the transparency warning, in , fixed resizable hybrid setting had been change which i never did, which that's don't think thats any help but to anyone who help it is very much aoppreciated cause this is annoying as all hell .
anyone who uses this plugin able to help me with this? i'm trying to make markers for leviathan's hp thresholds but it's not working at all, the green marker is totally off, like it hovers at 180hp (which is leviathan's health at 20%, not 40%)

I'm having issues with my Runelite.
"Failed to login.
Please try again."
I have a system I use to set up my play environment that I will list here to help troubleshooting, note: I have a jagex account;
My jagex launcher is blocked (?) by my ISP ChungHwa Telecom (uses cloudflare) whereas Runelite is not. I have been getting around this for years via;
1) Disable PC ethernet, connect to phone hotspot
2) Successfully launch Jagex launcher
3) Launch Runelite via Jagex launcher
4) Once on the Runelite play screen, disconnect from hotspot and reconnect ethernet.
5) Keep the Runelite client open until update day and then repeat steps 1-4.
I have never once had an issue using this method for years.
Things I've tried: Restarting PC, Restarting Router, Restarting Phone, Running Jagex launcher as administrator, Disabling TLS verification in the Runelite launcher config (idk thought it might help)
note: I can confirm I can log in via Runelite using hotspot, so it's not an account based issue.
you could check the client log, but logging in with a jagex account usually requires being able to pass the cloudflare checks so that isnt too surprising

Found a solution, use Cloudflare WARP, add the OSRS world you're playing on to the WARP exclusion list (this eliminates the lag from Warp)
