yeah I also noticed discord and definitely RuneLite are messed up. Also seems like Jagex authentication might be affected, tried to login on mobile (on wifi) earlier and it didn't work.
Whenever I swap to certain profiles, Tile Indicators turns off. This seems to happen every time for these profiles regardless of how many times I enable it for that profile. Any ideas?
i would guess you maybe have another tile plugin installed on that profile?

So I removed every single hub plugin from a copy of that profile and it still does the same thing.
Looks like the culprit is "corner tile indicators", despite it being uninstalled on the broken profile. When I re-add it and toggle it off, that seems to fix things

no, i think would manually place them there and dont resize; thats the trade off with that hub plugin probably

You know, I wasnt able to log in on the wifi earlier on mobile either, until i switched to my data. So something is definitely up with Spectrum
yeah, it's specifaclly just the launching, because I just saw that I had a runelite client still up, and was able to login like normal. It's something preventing the download of the bootstrap, at least for me.

Did anyone ever figure out how to fix it when shift-click withdraw-all (in the bank) stops working? It works for anything else, just won't work for withdraw-all. This is the swap on the base Menu Entry Swapper. Custom swaps on specific items work as normal.
I found multiple old posts mentioning it, but no one had solutions other than "it started working again randomly"
I've tried turning off the plugin, turning off/on the setting, restarting runelite and even restarting my computer. It's only messed up for one of my profile - my other account on a different profile works normally as well.
Edit: nothing to do with profiles - it works on my main on both profiles and doesn't work for my iron on both profiles.

Fellow Texan/spectrum user here, yall are in the same spot as the rest of us. Spectrum did something making it not launch rl correctly. I downloaded Proton VPN because it has a free version. Logged on the vpn, was able to get the launcher to load, logged in, got off the vpn and back on the ethernet and have been able to play ever since. We're al just in a big waiting game rn unfortunately :/

howdy, had a pc update last night. logged in today and my plugins/settings were all gone even though i was still signed in on the client. Restarted and now all my plugins and settings are back, at least that i can tell, however G.E prices are no longer displayed of items that are on the ground. Tried going into the Ground Items plugin and turning that setting off and on under
"Price display mode" with no luck. Is this is a known issue right now and its just coincidence it coincided with me updating my PC over night? Let me know!

spectrum released a statement that the issue has to do with cloudflare, though the engineers are working on it, this issue has been going on since august 21st 🙁
no idea why they're taking this long to fix it, but this is impacting many applications/websites other than runescape, like discord

yeah the vpn workaround mostly only works if u have a legacy account

Anyone know why item charges plugin for fish barrel doesn't work for fly fishing trout/salmon? it stays at 0 the whole time unless you manually check the barrel. If I fish anything else such as anglers/sharks/lobsters/swordfish it updates the amount just fine its just the fly fishing

Since we had the DDOS attacks a few days ago my laptop has been lagging horribly on Runelite. Is this a server issue or is it something going on with my laptop? I tried changing around all of the setting with my gpu and even dropping the settings to bare one I am still stuttering bad when I am at Leviathan. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try a vpn as stated above
The issue the spectrum folks have is not related to safe mode at all
If you’re using safe mode to play then you’ve got hub plugins you need to figure out being the issued

Hey there 🙂 I'm not sure if anyone else has had this issue or if theres a fix for it. I have a current work around, but it does get annoying.
I have a steelseries headset, and I use Steelseries GG for routing my audio, When I open RuneLite, it doesnt get detected by sonar. I have to close sonar down and reopen it before it will detect the runelite client and allow audio to passthrough.

If you're getting an error while trying to install RuneLite in the lines of unable to find unins000.exe that means you have a previous RuneLite version that didn't uninstall cleanly. I'm having a weird problem with the Menu Entry Swapper plugin and I've no idea who to tell about it or who can help me, so I'm hoping someone here can help. Every other item works perfectly with it except one, Yew logs. They are permenantly set to drop on left click and I cannot get them back to use on left click no matter how hard I try. Even turning off the plugin doesn't work. Hoping someone here can help, I'm scared to uninstall it incase it will reset all of my swaps, as I've set hundreds of them now 💀

Many plugins from the pluginhub break the client in subtle or not-so-subtle ways, including causing issues like client freezes. We do not support pluginhub plugins because we do not make or quality control them, and do not recommend their use.
Run the RuneLite (safe mode) shortcut, or with a Jagex account, first run the RuneLite (configure) shortcut and tick the Safe mode box, then launch RuneLite via the Jagex launcher.
This temporarily disables the GPU plugin and all hub plugins which will allow you to confirm the issue is caused by one of those plugins and isn't a core RuneLite issue.
If the issue is caused by a hub plugin, you should isolate which plugin it is and then uninstall the plugin.

try to run it in safe mode and if it shows then it's a hub plugin issue

yeah then it's a hub plugin, if you have your plugins turned off at this point and turn off safe mode restart the client you probably will see the changes
but you would have to figure out which plugin it is and remove it, restarting the client between turning the plugins off and checking

If you are using an N version of Windows (e.g. Windows 11 Pro N), you need to install the optional feature 'Media Feature Pack' through Settings, restart and the audio should work.

What login box? If you're signing in through the Jagex launcher there should not be a place to put username or password
Launch runelite via the Jagex launcher and make sure neither Runelite or Jagex Launcher is running as admin. Runelite should just have a play button with your account name

But you're probably just running out of heap space

My XP/hr seems to be bugged. I'm at gemstone crab, and XP is certainly not 415/hr. I had the same issue looking at the XP tracking for thieving at fruit stalls, reporting ~200xp/hr instead of the ~34.2k it should have been.
It saves between sessions. Turn off save between sessions or reset xp/hr

Yes, I am hard of vision so I scaled the UI up to maybe 1.5 or something? This was weeks ago so I don't entirely remember. I do remember the next whole number increment resulting in the UI taking up like 80% of the screen so I backed the number off. (Scaling the UI in general with Runelite seemed very hack-y when I did it, so maybe I did it incorrectly)

My game could be at 140 FPS in a Forestry Server with tons of people running and it would be fine.
But after like 10-20 minutes, it has a weird slowdown.
I got a vid to show it when it happens.

No, the Forestry Event has nothing to do with it. Like I said, tons of people walk around and it would force the PC to load their textures.

Ok, I can say that, after 15 minutes without Edge and Teams, the stutters don't happen anymore.
I have the usual micro-freezes, but those are always a normalcy.
I've been spinning the camera to check if the stutter happens, but nothing seems to happen.
So, I'd like to make a request, to confirm it may be either Edge or Teams that causes issues with Runelite.
If you have 8gb RAM, run the game and Teams together for 20 minutes.
Something like in the video may happen, or maybe it's a me thing, lol.

Safe mode is more of a troubleshooting step. If it doesn't happen in safe mode, try making a fresh profile with just GPU enabled. If it still doesn't happen in that case, your problem is a hub plugin
Tried unchecking it and restarted client and the bar was all white. Changed it back to original and still have the white line. It was fine before, don't know what ive done 😅

Not sure whats causin it to happen. It works on full screen on my left monitor fine with no white line. Just my main middle monitor when i make full screen i have the white line showing

it might just be a general stability issue. Running with too high of an overclock can cause it to crash, and it's indeed luck of the draw how far your particular GPU can be pushed

and loottracker's loot is not in a profile you export/import, it's part of another system

Yes. Jagex only sends N number of players. If there are more than N players nearby then you see people flicker in and out

there is no jvm crash
so none of my plugins work i deleted everything and redownloaded it now it says there was a fatal error starting runelite unable to create runelite directory check your filesystem permissions are correct

It should just use your system clock. Only time I’ve had issues was when traveling through time zones but a restart fixed it. Make sure your system time zone and daylight savings is correct
