If you're getting an error while trying to install RuneLite in the lines of unable to find unins000.exe that means you have a previous RuneLite version that didn't uninstall cleanly. To fix that you need to delete the following windows registry key: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\RuneLite Launcher_is1

There was space, but i found the fix. I play in fixed classic and have the plugin that lets you minimize the chat in that layout, and because it was minimized it wouldn't create the new one. When i opened the chat to respond to a message, i left it up and clicked it and it immediatley popped up and let me name it

I did, but it didnt matter because in fix classic when that pluggin drops your chat it streteches the bank to fill the screen so it shows all that space the arrow takes you to. It was blocking the creation of the tab tag because the "nameing window" couldn't pop up with the chat box minimized

It looks like if I mark one empty one, and that are rotated in a different direct think they're marked, though don't show anything, and won't let me mark them without unmarking the other ones.

Oh I'm not referring to empty vs filled birdhouses, that has been fine. I'm referring to the 4 empty birdhouses individually. The plugin seems to both think the 4 are the same object (marking 1 will update the menu to "unmark" for all 4) while also thinking they are different objects (the markers aren't showing up on all 4, only the ones with the same rotation as the originally marked one)

I will get more screenshots during my next birdhouse run to show a bit better what I mean

I suspect however the 4 empty birdhouses have the same object ID but are classified differently depending on their rotation and that's confusing the plugin somehow? At least, from what my testing suggests. I'm not sure what else it would be

~~Ok so I launched in Safe Mode to test further and found the following:

I marked the empty birdhouse to the left in Verdant Valley in the following examples. Here is how they appear including menus:

• Marking one causes the plugin to believe it's marking all of them. However, as you can see, the object marker isn't actually showing up on the one with the different rotation.
• Demonstrating it's an issue with the rotation, notice how the birdhouse in the Mushroom Meadow example has the same rotation as the bottom left one in Verdant Valley, and the marker is also showing on it (despite not manually marking that one, as it marked itself when I marked the first one)~~

if you're setting the limit to 6gb you might as well also install debug helper from the , a green blob will apear on the sidebar, and in that tab is a heap dump on oom setting

that way if u do manage to crash again from ooming, u can send us the heap dump that will 100% say what the problem is

since 6gb of oom will be pretty obvious

Hey, I've been having a weird problem since last update, my shift-click for everything (npcs, objects, ui) is "walk here", regardless of what I have set as a shift-click option (or what the default is). Tried disabling/re-enabling the most obvious suspects such as Menu Entry Swapper and Custom Menu Swaps and checking their settings, but that changed nothing. Also tested making a new profile, and everything worked as expected under that with Menu Entry Swapper, so it seems the problem is with a plugin I have enabled? Any ideas how to go about troubleshooting this other than disabling every plugin in my profile one by one, or which plugin could be causing this?

Jagex changed the behavior in January. It should contextually swap between Empty/Fill depending if you have essence in your inventory. You may want to try changing the MES to Reset to see if the Jagex behavior works properly.

Then when you run RL from bolt it will make a credential file that RL launched from IntellJ will see. And keep all settings/files in same place too.

The minimap/ingame display arrows are not there for certain clues. Example would be an easy clue in falador on the 2nd floor of a building. The arrow will not display at all on the minimap or in game until I go to the 2nd floor. I can still see the location on the world map.

It has been a while since I played last so I’m not sure if this is intended. I remember it showing display arrows from anywhere in game.

Hello, I accidently downloaded the 'Tasks Tracker' plugin, my RuneLite crashed, and my Jagex Launcher stopped working. I uninstalled both JL and RL, restarted my PC, and re-downloaded both.

JL works and RL installed, HOWEVER upon opening RL and letting it load up it crashed and I got a message: 'There was a fatal error starting RuneLite'.

I explored the Troubleshooting steps, and could not find any of the steps in the 'launcher,logs' txt file. So I decided to send you a message in Discord.

I'd appreciate any and all help with this if possible. II hope I've not obliterated my chances of using RL on my only computer. Thanks in advance!!

The only file that exists in User>.runelite is the launcher file. There's no screenshot directory in there. .runelite was wiped.

Can anyone help me with performance issues? I keep dropping 100+ frames on yama p3 whenever he sends out a wave attack. I'm using the gpu plugin and I've tried just about everything. Whenever these frame drops happen, gpu usage doesnt go above 20% and my cpu and gpu temps are fine.

Your connection to Jagex can be bad without your connection to other things showing an issue. All it means is that somewhere between your computer and the game servers, there's some sort of issue. It happens all the time and will often go away if you wait a bit

No, it should just save

Even if you don't create a new profile there's a default one that's used, so the client is always using some profile

hey ive been having frequent crashes when doing herb runs. I think its related to the extended chunk loading thing where a "fake" herb is loaded before you can see your actual herb. It always switches rapidly between menu options when mousing over any plant in a patch. let me know if you need any crash logs

• If your client failed to open, click the Open logs folder button.
• Open the screenshot directory by right-clicking 📷 Camera button, navigate 1 directory up, then open logs folder.
• Navigate to %userprofile%\.runelite\logs on Windows or $HOME/.runelite/logs on Linux and macOS.

Upload the log files named client and launcher by dragging them to Discord. If there are files prefixed with jvm_crash dated from today, upload them too.

you got two things going on there
first youve lost perms to some of the files in .runelite, so update your launcher then run it as admin once and itl try to fix those

Probably a bug. It says ready on special patches even though I got nothing planted in any of the ones I checked. All compost bins are empty. Any way to get rid of it? I tried logging in- and out of RuneLite without any success. Maybe I can go into RuneLite files and delete something there? It's very annoying always being fooled that my stuff is ready.

if you have the xp tracker in a certain locations it will affect the vertical ceiling of other stuff
