Been having this issue whenever I use runelite without a VPN. Even with a VPN depending on location it happens. The nearest VPN server that now works adds extra 80ms ping. So I never bothered trying to fix it until now

Is it my ISP? Anything to try and do to fix it?

Is it possible to set Ground Items plugin so that even if I hide an item it will be visible if a stack of it gets past specific gp threshold? For example I hide bones but I want to see if someone drops for example noted 10k bones on ground.

Similar with low value seeds, while low amount is worth almost nothing I want to see them when they are in huge numbers like past 10k value.

Hey, I have an issue with hardware acceration on linux ubuntu 24.04, that hopefully someone can give me a bit of guidance on:

My glxinfo is says NVIDIA RTX A500 is my OpenGL renderer.
Im launcing Runelite through bolt flatpakflatpak run com.adamcake.Bolt
My runelite is configured to use OpenGL for hardware rendering
when turing on/off the GPU plugin I can see its using llvmpipe with 4.5 driver, which does not correspond to the info glxinfo | grep "OpenGL" returns.

Why do I get low fps in runelite? I have 32gb ram, intel i5-13400, and rtx 4060 ti. I get 60ish fps in some areas and usually hover around 80 or 90. I feel like I should be getting much better since my cpu and gpu only sit around 30% usage in my task manager.

Run the RuneLite (safe mode) shortcut, or with a Jagex account, first run the RuneLite (configure) shortcut and tick the Safe mode box, then launch RuneLite via the Jagex launcher.

This temporarily disables the GPU plugin and all hub plugins which will allow you to confirm the issue is caused by one of those plugins and isn't a core RuneLite issue.
If the issue is caused by a hub plugin, you should isolate which plugin it is and then uninstall the plugin.

onAccountHashChanged seems to work pretty well, but is there something else i should be using instead?

you can check local player's name on the first game tick after the gamestate is leaving the log in screen and is at the state of logged in

hey, i have a friend who can't see trade/report/follow option for players. They also can see roofs when they are turned off.

They are a newish scaper with less than 4 days played. No major plugins downloaded.
Entity hider is not being used.
Menu entry swapper is not being used.
Follow and trade options are toggled on in game.

Hi, I'm using a work computer and trying to log into Runelite. Every time I click "log in", it says "Fail to login". I read on Reddit that someone with the same issue managed to fix it by changing the "Set time zone automatically" setting. My problem is that I can't change it from manual to automatic due to company policies. Is there any way to log in anyway?

I'm trying to create a plugin that would hide the Minimap but keep the Spec/Prayer/Run/Health bars visible.

From what I understand (I know shit all and have 5 hours of knowledge), the Minimap itself is the parent and the Orbs are the childs. If you hide the parent, the children also get hidden. There's an "Orb Hider" plugin which allows you to hide the orbs, but not the map.

Assuming that what I said is correct and I'm not just dumb, is there no workaround to what I'm trying to accomplish here?

If your screen starts having graphical glitches while the game is running, and the glitches persist through the game into ur OS- turn off gpu (experimental) if u have it on and just deal with the fps loss on regular gpu.
