Not the issue, verzik, bloat, xarx and nylo king all have their true tile highlight disabled since I logged in compared to when they worked sunday

oh I managed to figure it out; if I set my default option to Bank-All (using the vanilla interface buttons) then shift-clicking turns it into Bank-X. However, if I set it to Bank-1, shift-clicking doesn't do anything

so it looks like the behaviour is more complex than off by 1 based on the configured setting

it could be that it just changes the selected option to the one above it?

If the deposit box is set to 1, MES setting doesn't apply at all

Hey, I've been having some notification issues since last night. I Identified a notification sound from Max Hitsplats and turned that off. I thought that was odd I'd never heard that one before. But today as going through Moons of Peril, after completing each phase I'm getting the notification chime after being sent out the room. So the JVM crash is one we don't really have a known fix for unfortunately. You can try disabling SpeedStep in BIOS but I think this is technically more of a "13/14th gen Intel CPU that started toasting itself" thing

You've downloaded a fake client, and your account has been compromised. Remove the fake as soon as possible to minimise further damage.

Main reason I am asking is prior to today I used better NPC highlight and manually entered some ID's I got from reddit to show the true tile under the cracked boulder that babba throws without it showing any other boulder true tile.

Today was my first day logging back in after a couple days, and all of a sudden when I'm in combat I get a windows chime sound every about 10 secs. I've narrowed it down to knowing its coming from runelite after recording it and transferring the audio track to my editing software (i've seperated all my audio tracks) but I have not installed any new plugins or have done anything different? Getting huge frame drops during Whisperer orbs and Zebak scream. Someone suggested enabling 4G Decoding + Resizable BAR in BIOS, but that didn’t help.

Weird part is: enabling GPU Experimental fixes it completely, and I have the same laggs without any gpu plugin.

Anyone know why this happens or if there’s a proper fix without using experimental?

1. Make sure your Discord plugin is enabled.

Question about the infoboxes for boosts and such.. I found an update post from 2020 that you could right click say an attack boost, and detach it from the main infobox. But I'm trying to do it now and it doesn't work. I can't see a setting for it either. Was this removed?

It's noticable after about 25 seconds into the clip, screen rotation isnt responsive then snaps, mouse gets frozen when trying to click to move etc. It feels awful in my bank, can't withdraw items/constantly swapping item slots when only clicking once to withdraw. It doesn't look as infuriating in this clip but most pvm bossing has become unplayable for me (except for cox where I'm not experiencing the same lag?). Nex and ToA are awful for it.

Anyone familiar with this? The problem started happening a year ago, but when my monitor goes to sleep, sometimes Runelite's title bar and sidebar turns black. But if I mouse over where the sidebar button should be and click it, it fixes the issue upon resizing.

I just migrated to a Jagex account, not realizing that it would potentially be an issue with the VPN that I use. I have attempted to set up split tunnelling in Mullvad so that it doesn't interfere with Runelite but I can't seem to get it to work. Is this something that anyone here has experience with?
When my VPN is disabled I can run the game just fine but if I have it on I just get this error message:

NPC Indicators: Tile respawn does not work inside iron instances

Normally when you have a NPC tagged and the respawn tile setup you will see the respawn timer on the respawn tile when the NPC is dead. However, in the case that you are inside an instance, in this particular case it is the Ironman instance at godwars, the tile is not highlighted during NPC death nor is a timer shown.

I found this post from 2023, im having that same issue now, does anyone know of a fix? maybe im doing something wrong?

It's a issue we can't really fix. Instances use a different way of spawning NPCs which makes the plugin unable to correctly associate new spawns with old despawns

Hub plugins update all the time and each one of them could be a culprit. You should see if base runelite works and then try to find the hub plugin.

I just built a new pc and I'm encountering a weird issue, whenever I switch focus of windows between runelite and anything else, the runelite lags for a millisecond, more like a micro-stuttter. Happens both ways(unfocusing, and focusing runelite). Anyone knows whats up?
I tried disabling all addons(created new profile) but the issue still persists.

There is a debug checkmark but it's most likely something with your GPU drivers or configuration. GSync?

thanks, tried the debug log but nothing seems out of the ordinary in logs, i'll take a look around in driver settings which is most likely the culprit

tried everything from drivers, nothing helped, rebooted pc, windows meanwhile installed some update and now it's fine 🤷‍♂️ no idea what that was about but it's ok now, thanks for help anyways

So I've just come back to OSRS after about a 6 month break, for some reason my idle notification is no longer playing a sound - I've checked all my settings and they seem to be fine, I'm getting system notifications for runelite but there is no sound. The idle notifier is definitely working as my screen goes red.

I've tried starting RL in safe mode too and still no sound - Any other tips on what to do?

yeah the MTA stuff will get drawn relative to the xp tracker Y-position, which in your case was way beyond the viewport

I'm not exactly sure where to ask this question. Is it possible to get an overhaul of the collection log menu (via button on the log screen) that changes it into a log of every NPC in the game with their respected drop tables?
(Example: if I kill a chicken and receive bones, raw chicken and feathers, the chicken NPC on the plugin screen gets greened out, with an "# item collected" notification like the real collection log.)
I basically want to turn the log into an "every item in the game" thing

I'm new to ubuntu and an old time runescape player. I downloaded runelite and trying to open it as Disk Image Writer. Can I select any of my storage cards to write the image too? Also, if I do write the image to disk, will it re-write all my old data? Basically, how do I install RuneLite after downloading....

Try using the appimage from the link in #welcome, or if you have Jagex Account you can skip straight to downloading Bolt.

From my limited understanding, snap is rarely the ideal installation method for most things.
