you should not be serviced a username/password field when doing that

you should see a different button with your characters name, and clicking that just logs you in

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask so sorry in advance if its not! I've been having issues with performance since upgrading to a new PC, but not the standard FPS performance issues. Occasionally (Maybe once per minute, sometimes more, sometimes less) the game will sort of 'stutter', as if the game is running in slow motion for a tick or two, but my FPS doesn't change whatsoever, it stays locked at 144. ALmost visually looks like my monitor is running at 60hz for that brief moment too rather than the 144hz it is set to. Had a 3080 with a 10900k previously and never had this issue. I now have a 5090 with a 9800x3d and it's been occuring since I upgraded about a month ago. I've tried pretty much every solution I can find online (DDUing Nvidia Drivers, Full runelite reinstall, Disabling Hardware acceleration, closing MSI afterburner etc. etc.) so just hoping someone here can provide some possible insight as to why this is happening. Everything else runs perfectly fine on the pc. Nvidia drivers are up to date, as is windows

I have experienced this and have basically the same setup, it’s the GPU plugin and it happens when maps are being loaded for me, I reset that plugin to default and wasn’t so aggressive with extended map loading / draw distance

I think only the walk here options is glitched as that is the only option not available to select.

So I've been told by support dude in this channel that my runelite crashes are caused my a 13th series intel cpu. My game just closes 2-4 times an hour, unplayable. However just using the normal jagex launcher + client, I just played for 4 hours without a single issue.

Is there a way to force runelite to use the same JRE that runelite is using or any other options I might have? No other games crash just runelite...

I'd try testing it for quite a while longer. I had a sort of adjacent issue, and using safe mode dramatically increased the amount of time it took in between crashes. Like days for me.

Hey guys, this is the second time this month loot tracker has completely reset on me (first was right after the collection log plugin was shut down). I just verified I have cloud sync on. Is there any way to restore my runelite to get the old loot tracker from a month ago? I don't have previous versions of my .runelite folder for some reason, and my profiles and repository were apparently last edited right now. I click out, or turn off the plugin, to see what happens then and it deletes inputted text. if you launch the client after deleteing it on the website it will delete them from your local

but if you dont launch you might be able to move the current local you have out and then import that over after launching

Might also wanna test on a fresh (blank) RuneLite profile to rule out plugins. RL reinstall doesn't do this.

another thing is the default 50fps lock, unlocking might help if you havent already. i do notice that slow motion effect you described but only when opening the plugin hub or if a plugin is being updated. also, sounds silly but make sure youre not using the 32 bit version if your system is 64 bit

Hey, I've been experiencing frequent freezes on runelite, I tried reinstalling and updating my graphics drivers but none of it worked. I checked the log files and found that it was over 11gb in size, and each log file has this error repeated thousands of times.

Okay so I uninstalled the plugin, however I still get constant 2-3 second freezes, specially when running TOBs, I tried to use the runelite profile my brother uses which works for him and I still faced the same issues, I updated my gfx drivers, installed all windows updates as well as optional ones, I reinstalled runelite, deleted cache, deleted log files (11gb). I even disabled the GPU plugin and it still froze, My pc runs games like marvel rivals with no issues.

Many plugins from the pluginhub break the client in subtle or not-so-subtle ways, including causing issues like client freezes. We do not support pluginhub plugins because we do not make or quality control them, and do not recommend their use.

Run the RuneLite (safe mode) shortcut, or with a Jagex account, first run the RuneLite (configure) shortcut and tick the Safe mode box, then launch RuneLite via the Jagex launcher.

This temporarily disables the GPU plugin and all hub plugins which will allow you to confirm the issue is caused by one of those plugins and isn't a core RuneLite issue.
If the issue is caused by a hub plugin, you should isolate which plugin it is and then uninstall the plugin.

There's several causes.

• You have a bad network cable
• Your router has issues
• Your ISP has issues

i am getting an error when logging into runelite. it was working earlier today but not is saying something like too many login attempts and to download and use jagex launcher

i have only recently started playing again after a long hiatus. I tried to use the jagex launcher but cant seem to get it to load up with my actual account.

you won't be able to just double-click RuneLite and enter your username/password

but when you click Play on the Jagex launcher, it wont prompt you for username/password

the game inside RuneLite will just know it's you, and clicking the button will login

Hey, I'm wondering if there's any good way to get the sidebar to behave better on a 1024 x 768 monitor. Specifically, the sidebar doesn't fit all the way when expanded, and when minimized it stays truncated. Changing the resize type to keep game size causes an even more undesirable behaviour, as the game doesn't return to full screen.

It looks like runelite might be in a different aspect than your display with the black bars on the side like that.

I think that's just the recording software. It's just normal resizable fullscreen irl. Unless you mean it's some kind of internal config?

As far as I understand, the problem is just that the chatbox + inv + expanded sidebar is like 1030 pixels so it doesn't quite fit on 1024 without resizing

I get a lot of weird issues sometimes with 1366x768. Lot of trial and error with resolution, scaling modes, and display controls sometimes lol

yeah the stretched mode plugin and most of the scaling settings in the gpu plugin are horrible on this monitor, lol

One way is to go into your display settings and add runelite to a profile that you change to the resolution you prefer
